  1. (hand games) A hand game in which players hold up a number of fingers on each hand and try, through certain moves, to eliminate their opponent's hands.
  2. A well-known simple piano piece, originally entitled The Celebrated Chop Waltz, written in 1877 by British composer Euphemia Allen (under the pen name Arthur de Lulli), typically played with the two index fingers held straight out.
