IT Support

After a prospective student is accepted to the University, has been issued an Icelandic ID number (kennitala), and the registration fee has been paid, they can go to the Service Desk in the University Centre and ask for access to Ugla (UI Intraweb).

Students can monitor their study progress and access a variety of information regarding their studies via Ugla.

It is possible to buy print credits at the Service Desk in the University Centre (Háskólatorg), at the IT Help Desk in Stakkahlíð, or online in the Ugla intraweb. Please click here for further information on printing and scanning on campus.

Furthermore, a number of businesses provide students and lecturers with photocopying services. Háskólaprent Printing Service is an on-campus business that specialises in providing services to students and academics. The company publishes article collections and original textbooks for UI courses, prints final dissertations for students at the University of Iceland, in addition to completing a number of smaller tasks for students, lecturers, and institutions, such as for example brochures, essays, booklets, reports, OCR scanning.

Háskólaprent is located at Fálkagata 2, on the corner of Fálkagata and Suðurgata.
