Biografio
[redakti | redakti fonton]Katherine Heigl estas filino de Nancy (naskiĝinta Engelhardt) kaj Paul Heigl, ŝia avo devenas el Esslingen, Germanio.
Baldaŭ post ŝia naskiĝo, ŝiaj gepatroj translokiĝis al Connecticut. En aĝo de 9 jaroj, danke al ŝia onklino, ŝi estis videbla en diversaj reklamfilmoj. Heigl ricevis la unuan filman rolon en 1992 en That Night – One Hot Summer, en kiu ŝi ludis kun Juliette Lewis.
