pueden encontrar ciervos rojos en las colinas de connemara martas cibelinas de
hábitos nocturnos, focas grises y nutrias. Las ardillas rojas están bastante más
extendidas que las grises, y los ratones silvestres son los únicos roedores pequeños
autóctonos. Es sorprendente la ausencia casi total de serpientes y anfibios, aunque en
algunos lugares se encuentran sapos

- Ireland is an independent sovereign member of the European Union, occupying most of the
island of the same name. The capital of Ireland is Dublin. In Irish Ireland is said Éire.

History
- In 1949 the Irish state was declared the Republic of Ireland. It conserves three of its four
provinces, the largest called Ulster or Northern Ireland belongs to the United Kingdom. In 1916
Ireland became independent on its own from the United Kingdom thanks to the assembly of
Dáil Ériann. Between 1919 and 1922 it was the war of independence between the republican
army of Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Gastronomy
- The typical ingredient in Ireland is the potato. • The typical drink is coffee and beer especially
is whiskey and Guinness. • The typical food is boxty. • The best known fish are cod and salmon.
Fauna
- Among the typical animals of the island, apart from the birds and livestock of the area, you
can find red deer in the hills of Connemara, nocturnal sablets, gray seals and otters. Red
squirrels are much more widespread than gray squirrels, and wild mice are the only small
indigenous rodents. The almost total absence of snakes and amphibians is surprising, although
toads are found in some places
Flora
But the most widespread image of Ireland is its endless green pastures where cattle graze
peacefully. Almost the entire island is covered with these green meadows.
