ABSTRACT
Visual loss is a symptom of pathologies that initially affect the optic chiasm.
Hemianopsias and alterations of the temporal field of vision are among visual deficits
but commonly found. Various anatomical structures may be involved and knowledge of
this type of alterations is fundamental for neurosurgeons. We present a literature
review.
