Mattia Preti (Taverna, 1613ko otsailaren 24a - Valletta, 1699ko urtarrilaren 3a) italiar margolaria izan zen.

Caravaggioren estiloaren jarraitzailea izan zen. Erroman elizetarako freskoak margotu zituen eta 1653 eta 1660 artean Napolin lan egin zuen. 1659an Maltako Ordenako zaldun izendatu zuten eta Maltako uhartera joan zen bizitzera. Han, freskoak margotu zituen Vallettako San Joanen kokatedralean, San Joan Bataiatzailearen bizitza irudikatuz.
