Just got a new Beelink EQ14, Intel N150 CPU, AX101 Wifi Card.
Installed OpenBSD 4.7 successfully, wifi works after firmware update. But the graphic card driver seems doesn't work properly, poor performance under cwm/twm/fvwm.
And it's hard to get the resolution/scaling right with 4k 28' monitor. Then tried Debian 12, kernel a little bit old, no luck. Debian Testing, new kernel, works fine but font blurring.
Fedora 41 workstation, very good, nice and sharp, beautiful but gnome, it has KDE version but seems buggy.
Finally installed Arch based EndeavorOS and it uses the latest kernel, everything works fine.

AI can't replace temples yet.

Migrated my PVE all-in-one system from a small SSD to 2T SSDx2 ZFS RAID1 storage, very smooth and quick. Just don't upgrade to proxmox-kernel-6.5.13-3-pve-signed, it will segfault when starting your OpenBSD7.4 VM.

For a $119 2T SSD, the performance is actually very good.

Cloning 800+ GB system from a 1TB SSD to a 2TB new SSD using Clonezilla, both are PCIEx4, needs about 1 hour. Thanks to Clonezilla, very simple and smooth.

Just bought a AMD 7840HS 16G 1T laptop as a gift for the upcoming birthday of my 8 years old son, should I wipe off the pre-installed windows 11 and install OpenBSD on it? My son will only use it for Python programming and some paper work, occasionally gaming. Not sure if OpenBSD can handle the new hardware properly, if not, maybe I should try Manjaro or other Arch based Linux on it.

SS on AWS is easy to be found and blocked, try Trojan, Hysteria v2, V2Ray..., I had one of V2Ray on GCP hong kong, and it lasted for a very long time.
Usually GCP and Azure has the best connection to CN.

Have you ever been to China? I have been lived in China for many years, actually no much complains of my very own experience so far.
And I'd been to US, Indonesia, Thailand...and the worst experience I had is in US, each time I visited there, there were gunshot incidents happened nearby, and homeless people, bad smell on subway...I am not saying all US places are like this, I only visited CA, some places are cool, but I definitely won't go out alone after 8pm in the dark.

LOL, China is not that bad, and the GFW is easy to break through anyway.

It's opensource, You can get a vps and run your own, very easy and the speed is enough to watch 4k youtube.
