The rationale behind this study is how students with disabilities’ perception towards the inclusive education and inclusive teaching practices. As a qualitative single case study, two participants (student with hearing loss and visual impairment) were involved to give their depth explanation about inclusive practices in one secondary inclusive school in Yogyakarta. These participants were recruited by purposive technique sampling. Data were gathered by open-ended interview, documents’ analysis, and direct observation for building and learning media. Data then were analyzed using content-analysis technique. The results show students with disabilities have a positive perception towards the inclusive practices in their school. This research was conducted to investigate the perceptions of persons with disabilities and stakeholders regarding the promotion and development of Friendly and Inclusive Communities in Bantul Regency, DIY and Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi. The study was designed using transformative mixed-method, with the framework of KIPA (Knowledge, Inclusion, Participation, and Access) as a theoretical framework core. The first step was carried out by an empirical survey through distributing questionnaires to 48 respondents in Bantul Regency and 52 respondents in Kendari City. The results of data analysis from questionnaire contents were processed through descriptive statistics to describe respondents' perceptions quantitatively. As a qualitative case study, this paper is aimed at investigating how Islam - science integration approach can be underpinned for developing the IEP for Chemistry. Participants were recruited purposively and data were collected by interviews; documents’ analysis; and experts’ assessment (i.e. material experts, inclusive education experts, media experts, chemistry teachers and support teachers), then analyzed using content-analysis. The study seeks to examine the voices and experiences of students with disabilities in navigating online learning during the COVID-19. Based on in-depth interviews with thirty-four students with various disabilities of UIN Sunan Kalijaga, this study attempts to answer how these students experiencing online learning, what challenges they encounter, and what strategies they are using to navigate this new way of learning. Results show most students prefer conventional face-to-face learning, compared to the online learning one. Students reported various challenges they experienced, the most important of which is the high cost of internet access. Other challenges include the inaccessibility of the e-learning system with respect to the platform of online learning and the learning activities. The development of the module followed the 4-D model of the research based development, i.e. Define, Design, Development, and Disseminate. However, the present paper will only report the first three phases that have been conducted. The prototype of the science Braille module was reviewed by supervisor, subject expertise, and peer reviewers. The final prototype of module was reviewed by SLB teacher, elementary school teachers (2 teachers from inclusive school and 1 teacher from SLB) using the manual ideal criteria assessment. This article focuses on the investigations towards challenges and obstacles faced by Schools Providing Inclusive Education (SPIE) in creating inclusive science learning for students with disabilities. Under the qualitative research lense, three SPIE (Sekolah Mutiara, Permata and Berlian) in the Special Province of Yogyakarta were involved and thirteen respondents (principals, science teachers, support teachers) were selected through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected by in-depth interviews and followed by a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with six science teachers. Collected data were then analyzed through coding, categorization, and four themes were generated. The findings show that types of disabilities possessed by students are very diverse, so that teachers need more effort and time to manage class. This study aimed to compare the achievement, motivation, and independent learning of blind students who use screen reader JAWS and braille module.This research was conducted at MAN Maguwoharjo Yogyakarta involving 5 blind students in the chemistry subject of academic year 2013/2014. One student is as an instrument validation test subject, two students as subjects in the experimental class and two students as subjects in the control class. The instruments used in this study are the observation sheet,multiple choice test, questionnaire responses, motivation scale, and independent learning scale. Data of student achievement, motivation and independence scale were analyzed using nonparametric statistical test of independent samples. The result shows that no significant difference between the achievement, motivation, and independence of blind students who use screen reader JAWS module and braille module.
