🌱 Did you know that 3.2 billion people are directly impacted by soil degradation? Healthy soils are critical for sustaining ecosystems, preserving biodiversity, regulating the climate, producing food, and purifying water. Yet, UNESCO warns that 90% of the planet's land surface could be degraded by 2050 if we don’t act. This rapid soil degradation poses significant risks for ecosystems, human health, and our shared future.

🌍 Gender equality in education is more than a goal—it’s a global priority. Despite progress, 122M girls and 128M boys remain out of school, with girls facing greater barriers, especially at the primary level. For UNESCO, gender equality is not just a goal—it is a priority. We want to ensure that all learners, regardless of gender, have the right to quality, equitable and inclusive learning opportunities. We are working tirelessly to make this happen. Through initiatives like the "Our Rights, Our Lives, Our Future" (O3) Project in Africa, we’re linking education to health and empowering girls to overcome systemic challenges. Together with governments, partners, and communities, we’re creating a world where no learner is left behind. 🌐 “AI has incredible potential to shape our future, but it also brings significant challenges,” says Dr. Alessandra Sala, UNESCO expert and Sr. Director of AI and Data Science at Shutterstock. Recent studies reveal that generative #AI models often fail to represent women accurately, amplifying societal biases. That’s why UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Ethics of AI champions inclusivity and equality for all.
