Applying Design Psychology

Notes de l'éditeur

  1. We begin thinking about the patterns and elements that we’ll need to create our experiences.
  2. When we view objects with close proximity, we see them as forming groups. We use similarity to position items to form groups.
  3. We bring the Gestalt principles together when we assemble the individual elements into a cohesive whole. Groups are separated by varying proximities and white space.
  4. Foreground objects should be more prominent than their backgrounds. We’ve employed this principle by using saturated foreground colors on soft background colors. The calls to action rise to the foreground through the use of saturated color.
