Thus, to analyze how such competences impact other contexts is a great challenge because this kind of study involves the work with people and the use of variables that depend on human behaviors. In this sense, many studies have highlighted the advantage of using simulation systems and tools. In particular, the agent-based social simulation field relies upon the Semantic Web to manage knowledge representation in social scenarios. This study focuses on how citizenship competences impact conflict resolution. Moreover, a simulation model in which citizens interact to resolve conflicts by considering citizenship competences and conflict resolution styles is also introduced. Although ophthalmologists are generally considered to only prescribe contact lenses, and they handle more than half of eye-related enhancements, diagnoses, and treatments. The training of qualified ophthalmologists is generally carried out under the traditional settings, where there is a supervisor and a student, and training is based on the use of animal eyes or artificial eye models. These models have significant disadvantages, as they are not immersive and are extremely expensive and difficult to acquire. La adopcion de Recursos Educativos Abiertos (REA) ha ido en aumento y con ello la necesidad de ab... more La adopcion de Recursos Educativos Abiertos (REA) ha ido en aumento y con ello la necesidad de abordar la diversidad de necesidades de aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Por ello, los REA deben cumplir con caracteristicas tales como la accesibilidad web y la calidad. Asi, los profesores como los creadores de REA necesitan de herramientas de soporte y competencias especializadas. La principal contribucion de la tesis es el modelo LAMTCE, un modelo de analiticas de aprendizaje para hacer seguimiento a la creacion y evaluacion de REA considerando la accesibilidad web y la calidad. LAMTCE tambien incluye un modelo de usuario de las competencias del profesor en creacion y evaluacion de REA. Advances in semantic web technologies have rocketed the volume of linked data published on the we... more Advances in semantic web technologies have rocketed the volume of linked data published on the web. In this regard, linked open data (LOD) has long been a topic of great interest in a wide range of fields (e.g. open government, business, culture, education, etc.). This article reports the results of a systematic literature review on LOD. 250 articles were reviewed for providing a general overview of the current applications, technologies, and methodologies for LOD. The main findings include: i) most of the studies conducted so far focus on the use of semantic web technologies and tools applied to contexts such as biology, social sciences, libraries, research, and education; ii) there is a lack of research with regard to a standardized methodology for managing LOD; and iii) a plenty of tools can be used for managing LOD, but most of them lack of user-friendly interfaces for querying datasets.

The model was applied by 72 teachers of primary and secondary schools who cocreated and evaluated IA-OERs in the context of the validation phase of the inclusive learning project. The evaluation of the IA-OERs covered two aspects: Web accessibility and quality. Moreover, an accessibility dashboard was developed to display the graphics of the results obtained from the Web accessibility evaluation.

In recent decades, the use of ICT for educational purposes has increased, and the spread of network technologies has caused e-learning practices to evolve significantly. Virtual Learning Environments (VLE), other technologies such as e-portfolio and mobile learning are all used extensively now as a means of ‘delivering’ parts of the curriculum and supporting student learning.
