Question

I noticed that omo upgrades automatically on startup. Does it also upgrade basic opencode automatically?

I previously modified the model config file manually, but now I would like to recover it to the optimal default models setting under my subscription plan. What should I do?

1. oh-my-opencode is a plugin for opencode. Opencode handles its updates automatically by itself.
2. You can use the command bunx oh-my-opencode install

Thanks for the explanation. However, there are still some questions.

Q1

I installed opencode through command brew install anomalyco/tap/opencode, when start up opencode it seems doesnt upgrade itself automattically, still need to run brew upgrade opencode or opencode upgrade

Q2

running bunx oh-my-opencode install seems to require selecting providers and auth login repeatly.

In addition, I conducted a test. I first modified the configuration in oh-my-opencode.json as followed:

}

after running bunx oh-my-opencode install, the configuration remained gpt-5.2-codex instead of being reset to the recommended default gpt-5.3-codex

I think the ideal style is providing a command which can swich default recommanded setting or custome setting
