Does srsgnb maintains the mapping between IMSI and RNTI? If so, where is the mapping maintained?

Hi @egg988,

There is no relationship between the IMSI and the RNTI, each time a UE attaches the RNTI is changed. For example, if you only connect one UE to the RAN, and disconnect and reconnect again, the RNTI will not be the same.

Thanks for your answer! But my problem is that, after a connection is established, does gNB records the temporary mapping between RNTI and IMSI? Or is this mapping recorded by gNB or core network?

gNB does not even know the IMSI.
