GP - Chpt - Manage Organizations

Organizations are the main conduits where analysis is performed in the Governance Portal, such as documentation, risk-control analysis, and checklist responses. The Organization Model is a dynamic means to create and classify a business hierarchy.

Each organization has a series of attributes that make it unique. Organizations are "related" to one another via a parent-child relationship. The primary activities involve building the organization hierarchy, determining which PCS applies to each organization, then "sub-selecting" from the PCS to define the processes that are present in that organization. This creates a process universe that can then be documented.

From the entity hierarchy tree, you can add child organizations and RCMs (if none exist for the organization already), manage processes and RCMs, and link to other entities.
