Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola, Babban Kwamandan Askarawan Tarayya (GCFR) (Ya rayu daga ranar 24 ga watan Agusta, a shekara ta 1937 zuwa ranar 7 ga watan shekara ta 1998) Dan Nijeriya ne, Bayarabe Dan kasuwa, mawallafi, dan siyasa, kuma mai juya al'amurran Yoruban Egba, shi ne Aare Ona Kankafo na kasar Yarbawa.[1] MKO Abiola ya nemi shugabancin Nijeriya a zaben shugabancin Najeria na shekara ta 1993, wanda sakamakon zaben shugaban kasa na waccan lokaci na soji Ibrahim Babangida ya ki yarda da shi, saboda zargin tabka magudi ta aikata ba dai-dai ba.[2] Sai dai a 6 ga watan Yuni shekarar 2018 shugaba Muhammadu Buhari ya tabbatar wa Abiola nasarar zabensa kuma ya zama daga cikin shugaban kasar Nijeriya, har ma ya sa ranar "12 ga watan Yuni" ta zamanto ranar dimokradiya a Nijeriya, wadda aka canja daga 29 na watan Mayu.[3][4]

Abiola ya kasance aboki na kud-da-kud ga shugaba Babangida[5] sannan kuma ya taimaka dan ganin Babangida ya zama shugaban kasar Nijeriya. Karbuwar da Abiola ya samu a zaben da aka gudanar a watan "Yuni" a shekara ta 1993 ya zo ne daga ko'ina a cikin yankuna da shiyoyin Nijeriya da addinai.[6] A lokacin rasuwarsa, ya zama wani abun nuni ga dimokradiyar Nijeriya.[7]
