A common question we get at Stanford HAI is “How can I get involved?” In general, an institute or center brings people together in three ways: interdisciplinary research projects, training opportunities (at all levels) and sharing research infrastructure. Share Your Research: HAI’s blog and newsletter reach tens of thousands of readers every week. HAI’s blog and newsletter reach tens of thousands of readers every week. We invite you to share your AI-related research with us so we can either promote your research to media outside of Stanford or feature your work on our blog, in social media, or in our weekly seminars by contacting Shana Lynch.
Participation in HAI’s corporate membership programs, including HAI’s Founding Members and Corporate Affiliate Programs, provides faculty with the opportunity to secure funding, data, industry collaborators, or other research support. In addition, we invite faculty to present at our monthly Executive Breakfast Series and other corporate-facing events. We also seek partnerships with outside organizations. AI is at the top of the agenda for policymakers in Washington and around the world. HAI regularly organizes workshops with academia, civil society, government and industry stakeholders, briefings for policymakers, and other policy research and engagement activities.
