I am Professor of Biblical Studies at Harding University, preaching minister for the Westridge Church of Christ, and a member of the Society of Biblical Literature. I specialize in Septuagint studies, the poetry of the Hebrew Bible, prophetic literature of the Hebrew Bible, lament literature, and Biblical Theology. I am a graduate of Lipscomb University, Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia), and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY). I am father to three living children and one deceased child (b. 12/26/1997, d. 3/10/1998). I am grandfather to two children.
