Blue swimming crab has a diverse habitat. The adult forms belonging to the subfamilies Portuninae and Podopthalminae live freely on the seabed, in mangrove areas and are sometimes found swimming near the surface. Blue swimming crab is a marine animal that has a high selling value. Initially, this crab was considered garbage or fisherman's waste that could not be processed. The condition of the waters of the village of Mertasinga is a crab habitat. The results of laboratory tests indicated that the swimming crab was free of formaldehyde and safe to be used as processed material. The utilization of crab meat can be used as crab chips, crab crackers and shredded crab. Besides that, crab shells can also be used as fertilizer for plants.

Anabolism is the synthesis (formation) of organic molecules that absorb (require energy), while catabolism is the breakdown of organic molecules that produce energy. Anabolism can be distinguished from catabolism in several ways: 1. anabolism is the process of synthesizing small molecules into larger chemical molecules, whereas catabolism is the process of breaking down large molecules into small molecules 2. anabolism is a process that requires energy, whereas catabolism is a process that releases energy. 3. anabolism is a reduction reaction, while catabolism is an oxidation reaction. Energy is the basis of all metabolic processes, so to understand metabolic processes it is necessary to first understand energy. Energy for various functions of the human body comes from metabolized nutrient molecules. The method used is a literature study method. The literature study method is a series of activities related to the methods of collecting library data, reading and taking notes, and managing research materials. Cell is the smallest unit of life, therefore cells can carry out life activities including metabolism. is a source of carbohydrates that can be used as food and industrial raw materials. Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) is a type of food additive that functions as a flavor generator or is recognized by the public as a food flavoring. This study aimed to analyze the effect of sunlight on corn sprouts (Zea mays) that were given MSG and those that were not given MSG and to study more deeply the growth of corn sprouts (Zea mays) given MSG. This research was conducted with two experiments, namely indoors and using sunlight. The results showed that the observation of corn plants using MSG on the first day, planted in the sun with a height of 1 cm, on the first day, the second plant was planted indoors with a height of 1.3 cm. On the fourth day, the plant planted in the sun was 6.5 cm high, the second plant, grown indoors on the fourth day was 7.5 cm high. On the seventh day, the plants grown in the sun using MSG solution were watered up to 15 cm in height, while the second plant grown indoors was watered with MSG solution reaching 16 cm in height. Observation of plants using water on the first day, plants planted in the sun were 1.5 cm tall, while plants grown indoors were 1.1 cm tall. On the fourth day, plants that were watered using ordinary water were planted in the sun with a height of 6 cm, while plants grown indoors, watered using water were 6.5 cm high, the seventh day, or the last day the plants were watered using water below. sunlight reaches 10.2 cm high, while plants grown indoors reach 12.5 cm high. Based on the research that we have made, we come to the conclusion that: that plants given msg have a negative effect on making plants fertile quickly and quickly wither away, while plants given ordinary water on corn plants have a positive impact on fertile plants and do not wither, only their growth is so long.
