Fiona Cowdell

Fiona joined the Faculty of Health and Social Care at the University of Hull in September 2011 having previously worked as a Research Fellow and Practice Development Consultant at Bournemouth University. Prior to this Fiona worked for many years in the National Health Service as a nurse at both operational and strategic levels.
Research
Fiona’s primary research interests include: skin health, older people, self-management and wellbeing. Her work has been supported by external grants from a range of bodies including charitable organisations and government funding.
