Curiosity adalah wahana penjelajah Mars seukuran mobil yang menjelajahi kawah Gale dan Gunung Sharp di Mars sebagai bagian dari misi Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) NASA. Curiosity diluncurkan dari Cape Canaveral (CCAFS) pada tanggal 26 November 2011 pukul 15:02:00 UTC dan mendarat di Aeolis Palus di dalam kawah Gale di Mars pada tanggal 6 Agustus 2012 pukul 05:17:57 UTC. Lokasi Pendaratan Bradbury berjarak kurang dari 2,4 km (1,5 mil) dari pusat target pendaratan rover setelah menempuh perjalanan sejauh 560 juta km (350 juta mil).
