Dayung

Mendayung merupakan sebuah olahraga yang menggunakan dayung dan berlangsung di atas sungai, danau, dan laut. Dalam teknik mendayung dengan alat dayung, hanya dikenal dua macam kayuhan yaitu dayung maju dan dayung mundur. Jika menginginkan perahu bergerak kedepan maka digunakan dayung maju sedangkan dayung mundur untuk menghentikan perahu yang sedang bergerak maju atau memang menginginkan perahu bergerak mundur. Jika ingin membelokkan perahu ke kanan maka tangan kiri mendayung maju dan tangan kanan mendayung mundur,dan sebaliknya jika ingin membelok ke kiri.
