Abdul-Moomin Adams
Abdul-Moomin Adams is a Lecturer in the Department of Governance and Development Management, S. D. Dombo University of Business and Integrated Development Studies, Wa, Ghana. He holds a Master of Science degree in Development Policy and Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Development Studies from University for Development Studies, Tamale, Ghana. He is a member of the Ghana Institute of Planners and has eight (8) years of experience in teaching and research at the tertiary level. His current research interest areas are: microfinance, climate change, economic & social policy, water infrastructure management, environmental sustainability, and livelihood sustainability analyses. He has experience in participatory research projects and capable of blending qualitative and quantitative research approaches. He has supervised twenty-four (24) undergraduate dissertations and nineteen (19) diploma term papers. He has also published seven (7) research papers and one (1) book chapter in peer reviewed journals across various areas. He is currently a reviewer for African Journal of Science, Technology, Innovation and Development (AJSTID), Taylor & Francis Ltd., UK; Food Security, Springer, Netherlands; Asian Journal of Medicine and Health, India; South Asian Journal of Social Studies and Economics, India; World Medical and Health Policy, UK; and an editorial board member for Journal of Social Science Studies, Macrothink Institute, USA. He has reviewed a total of ten (10) manuscripts for these journals.
