We interviewed 108 students from a technical college in Bacau and 91 students from Suceava. The young people completed a questionnaire with questions about the frequency of fatigue, passive resting and leisure (television and computer use). Fatigue is often present (34.17%), especially in students from Suceava, which suggests that there is a reduced sleep time per night (less than 7 hours). Most young people spend a lot of time in front of the TV screen (4-5 hours a day - 14.57%) and on the computer (4-5 hours a day - 20.10%), which exacerbates fatigue. In adolescents, current ways of spending leisure time should be carefully monitored, as there is a risk of excessive use, leading to the effects of overloading and computer addiction.

Fatigue is a phenomenon that occurs after an intense high school activity, which manifests in a different way for each student during the intense process of growth. The purpose of this research was to identify the presence of fatigue and some aggravating/alleviating factors (TV watching or computer work / physical activity) among 13-15 years old pupils from rural areas. Material and methods. The study was conducted on a sample of 53 eighth grade students from two elementary and secondary schools, one in Vânători commune, Iasi county (19 subjects), and the other in Băceşti commune, Vaslui county (34 subjects). Pupils were asked to complete a questionnaire on the generating factors of fatigue. The data were processed using the Pearson test. They completed a questionnaire on the generating fatigue factors. Nutrition is an external factor, which significantly contributes to assuring the balanced growth and development of children and youth. The purpose of this research was to investigate the teenagers' food habits and to evaluate the weekly frequency of eating some food. Material and methods. The study was done on a group of 96 pupils from Eminescu (48 teenagers) and Computer Science High-Schools (48 teenagers) from Iasi. The pupils have answered a questionnaire of weekly frequency for milk, eggs, fruit and pasta consumption. The statistical processing of results was done using the chi-square test. Results. The leading input of milk is of 2-3 times a week (30.2%) or of 4-7 times a week, the calculated differences being statistically insignificant (p>0.05), guiding us towards the idea of similar food habits of the questioned teenagers. The leading input of eggs is 2-3 times a week (47.9%), which is totally insufficient. The calculated differences are still statistical...

Any failure to adapt these requests to the possibilities of the age group can be associated with school failure. The study was carried out on a group of 208 students from the 9thgrade from three high schools in Iasi county. A questionnaire regarding school activity and the causes of the phenomenon of school fatigue was applied. The results were processed using Pearson's chi-squared test. The students are constantly preparing only for certain subjects (72.59%). In most cases (65.86%) adolescents admit that they have been taughthow to study only in certain subjects. Fatigue is often present in 58.65% of students. The students attribute the occurrence of this phenomenon to the numerous subjects they have to study (55.76), the large volume of homework (51.92%), insufficient sleep (48.55%), teachers being too strict (25%), or the breaks being too short (25%). The aim of the study: the evaluation of the students’ motor skills in relation to Body Mass Index (BMI) in order to orient them towards certain sports branches. Methods: The research study was conducted on a sample of 220 fifth grade students within the Moldavian Area. We have calculated the BMI and we have assessed the motor skills according to the national standards established for each school grade. Results: The BMI values are mainly normal (75.45%), yet there are significant differences in development between students in the three counties under analysis, with the most significant values recorded in the county of Suceava (18.48 ± 0.45 for boys and 18.06 ± 0.48 for girls). As far as the push-ups test grading is concerned, 8.63% of the students achieved below 5; there are also significant differences from one region to another (t...

Fatigue is a physiological phenomenon which is permanently present at students because of the scholar demands. Excessive demands can cause pathological fatigue phenomenon, which should be avoided. Subjects and method. The study included a group of 203 students from Dimitrie Cantemir Highschool in Iasi. The teenagers were questioned about the presence of the fatigue phenomenon. Results. Fatigue is rarely present at 62.6% of the questioned students. During the week, this phenomenon appears especially at the beginning (22.2%) or in the middle of the week (34.5%). In a few cases it appears at the end of the week, as it should. Night sleep is only of 6-7 hours (37.4%) or 7-8 hours (36.9%), which is not enough. The insufficient number of sleeping hours can be paid by day sleep, but most of the responses are "rarely" (50.7%). Active rest is represented by sport or other activities of choice. Sport is the only less attractive option - in most cases children allocate only 1...
