Primary issue that should be worked on when designing such systems is the connection between timing and quality control. Suchlike systems function exclusively in accordance with static schedule of beforehand defined tasks. This paper introduces one solution which allows simpler check of order and duration of processes performed by automotive embedded devices, for the purpose of quick detection of problems with certain task, by comparing static schedule with the real duration of task execution and provides visual display of tasks. Improving quality and accuracy of automotive embedded systems leads to better real-time performances which was the main reason for finding out this solution. Time triggered systems in automotive are based on FlexRay protocol than functions on principle of event chains. In order to optimize suchlike system it is necessary to process data in the most efficient way and show possible oversights of the system. The paper shows how, on the bases of input data, comparison with recorded traffic or real time data was performed. Visual results show differences between static and real schedule of tasks. Also, results could be shown in tables, and histogram, including exceeding performance time of tasks.

The Doppler shift is compensated before signal compression, simultaneously with the modification of the clock signal in the compression filter. This is possible thanks to the development of FPGA technology. The most important for this application are very fast clock control units which enable operation with different frequency references up to 1 GHz with an accuracy far below 1 Hz. Methods: In this paper, the methodology of mathematical modeling and simulation is used. Results: The results of the analysis of the most important effects in radars caused by high-speed targets are presented and discussed - target migration through resolution cells and compression filter response distortion due to high target acceleration. Conclusion: Thanks to flexible RF and signal processing hardware, complex radar processing procedures are not required. The sensi...

We consider the potential advantages of pulse trains made up of pulses have different waveforms pulse to pulse. This technique provides much more freedom in the synthesis of the desired signal ambiguity function. Possible applications of waveform agility include all future pulse Doppler radars that require enhanced range Doppler processing. Radar systems presently in service would require hardware changes to implement waveform agility which would be very costly, but for future radar systems waveform agility could be implemented with software changes only.

They are characterized by small size and portability, being utilized in both vehicular and man-pack variants. Their main task is to provide early warning of an enemy’s approach. In this paper, a new Serbian PR-15 radar design is presented. Structures and technical designs of model units are given. The units are: transceiver, control/synthesizer unit, radar display unit, digital signal processing unit, controllable rotary platform and power supply unit. Interface between components model are also presented. Some of these are Ethernet UDP and RS232/RS485 protocols

A representative signal set was obtained by measurements in real conditions and analyzed by MATLAB®. Bearing in mind the two basic modes of radar, acquired signals are separated into two subsets. The first one consists of short-time signals, with duration of order 100 milliseconds, obtained by simultaneous observation of all range cells. The second of them consists of long-time signals, with duration of order tens of seconds, obtained by continuous observation of the resolution cell where target is detected. Signals from the first subset are analyzed in range-Doppler plane by cross ambiguity function resulting in range-Doppler radar images. This is a base for detection and classification-while-scan in PR-15 radar. Signals from the second subset are analyzed in time-frequency domain by spectrogram resulting in time-Doppler radar images. This is the base for classification and target activity...
