En los últimos años la literatura y las plataformas de streaming se han hecho eco del interés que... more En los últimos años la literatura y las plataformas de streaming se han hecho eco del interés que ha suscitado el judaísmo ortodoxo, centrándose en el deseo de la mujer de romper con esa comunidad para construir una subjetividad femenina diferente. Las series Unorthodox y El fin del amor, ambas basadas en novelas homónimas, así como también la película Leona y el documental One of Us, son fiel reflejo de ese interés. Esta mesa redonda toma como punto de partida la serie El fin del amor, haciendo referencia a los demás productos culturales arriba mencionados, para indagar en cómo la mujer ortodoxa negocia su transición y pertenencia al universo secular. Pero ¿cuáles son las díadas que se desprenden de esta problemática? ¿Por qué existe esta fascinación con las mujeres ortodoxas? ¿Cuáles son los problemas intergeneracionales y familiares que emergen debido a la ruptura con el judaísmo ortodoxo? Estas son algunas de las preguntas que guiarán la discusión.
