The pathogenic relationship between oral lichenoid reaction (OLR) and dental materials has been confirmed many times. This case reports occurrence and management of OLR to acrylic material.

Conventionally, different types of alloplastic bone grafts such as demineralized freeze-dried bone allograft, freeze-dried bone allograft, beta-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP), hydroxyapatite, bioactive glass, or a combination of these with barrier membrane have been employed. Very few studies have been carried out on human furcation involvement using calcium sulfate bone graft. The results obtained were encouraging in terms of regeneration. This case series sheds light on calcium sulfate in the management of furcal involvement.

Patients often feel awkward regarding their facial esthetics and seek treatment for the same. Pathological tooth migration is a complex puzzle with various etiological factors to its credit. Treatment often involves time-consuming interdisciplinary approach. Very few case reports have achieved complete resolution of pathological tooth migration by periodontal therapy alone. In this unique case report, periodontal therapy alone could ameliorate pathological tooth migration. Further to it, results are stable for 2 years and continue to be so. Hence, meticulous periodontal therapy is effective in the management of pathologic tooth migration.

and root planing are the treatment of choice. However, these methods are time‑consuming and not
fully effective. To restore periodontal health systemic antibacterials are used as adjuncts, but due
to side effect and inability to reach target areas, other alternative methods were devised. Various
handicaps of systemic drugs such as side effects, resistance, and growth of opportunistic infection,
local drug delivery agents (LDD) in periodontology have gained acceptance and popularity. Haldi/
turmeric has been used in our country since time immemorial. It has vast array of therapeutic
uses. This review attempts to shed light on the efficacy of curcumin as LDD agent in periodontal
infections.

Apart from conventional techniques, ER:YAG laser adds cutting edge expertise in various surgical procedures. Successful outcomes achieved by Er:YAG laser makes it an important ingredient for achieving optimal clinical results.

Peri-implantitis is a site specific disease characterized by bone destruction around dental implants due to the host immune-inflammatory response induced by biofilm accumulation. Several approaches have been proposed to treat peri-implantitis, including mechanical debridement, antimicrobial therapy, and respective or regenerative surgical therapy. Calcium sulfate has multifaceted properties and has versatile use in the field of orthopedics. The present case report describes a peri-implantitis case treated by calcium sulphate which is a simple and easily available alloplastic material.

Improved esthetics is the first and foremost indication for depigmentation. The selection of the technique should be based on clinical expertise and individuals' preferences, which give better results. This is a case report on comparative evaluation between electrocautery and laser for depigmentation.

It occurs as a side effect to systemic drugs, such as nifedipine, phenytoin, cyclosporine or due to hereditary predisposition. Here is a special case report describing hereditary gingival overgrowth along with aggressive periodontitis.

Although highest standards are followed, still failure is inevitable. In most of the cases, the endodontic failure results from persistent or secondary intraradicular infection. Extraradicular infections may also be implicated in the failure of some cases. Paraendodontic surgery is warranted in periapical diseases treatment, when traditional endodontic therapy does not obtain satisfactory outcomes. The objective of this case report is to report a clinical case where an apicoectomy was indicated due to failure in conventional endodontic treatment followed by unconventional bone grafting using calcium sulfate.
