A stereo depth camera is placed in front of the vehicle at a point through which all crucial viewing angles are captured. The camera will be covering a viewing angle of 180°. This idea proposes an efficient framework for accurate object detection using CNN along with an object tracking algorithm. This system will determine the probability of an accident based on the three parameters, which are: object approaching towards the line of movement, relative distance between the object and vehicle, and relative speed of the object with respect to the vehicle. It will provide a reliable technique to attain an efficient rate of detection with less erroneous indication of an accident. Since it covers 180°, it can accurately detect any object/vehicle coming from either side. By judging the speed of the vehicle and the trajectory of the object, the system will calculate the expected time of collision and in order to avoid the impact, an automatic braking mechanism will take place to cautiously reduce the speed of the vehicle in a calculated manner. In conclusion, this computer vision-based system will be a game-changer in accident detection and will make driving safer, easier, and more efficient.

Chemical recycling has come up with various advantages in comparison to the traditional recycling methods for plastics. Cervical cancer is highly preventable. However, low level of participating women in screening is one of the major issues. The aim of this work was to study the factors that influence women to participate in cervical cancer screening by providing menstrual pads for human papillomavirus (HPV) testing. Methods Menstrual clothes were collected from two different populations from the rural areas of Maharashtra state for HPV testing to screen for cervical cancer. For this study, out of 945 participated women, 557 (58.9%) provided their menstrual pads. Multivariate logistic regression was applied to calculate the odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI). Results The probability of providing the menstrual pads was high among the women who were highly educated compared to those with less education (OR: 1.4; 95% CI: 1.0-1.9), having mobile phone facilities as compared to those with no mobile phones (OR: 1.4; 95% CI: 1.0-2.0), who were using new cloths as menstrual pads compared to those who did not use the same (OR: 8.5; 95% CI: 5.0-14.3), who did not have tobacco habit as compared to those who had tobacco habit (OR: 1.4; 95% CI: 1.1-1.9) and in the village where health worker was stationed as compared to the village where health worker was not stationed (OR: 1.8; 95% CI: 1.4-2.5). Conclusion Factors including health worker availability, using mobile phones for communication and high education level facilitate women's participation. To improve the participation, there is need to apply special strategies for older age group, less educated women and women having tobacco habit.

The key indicators to measure the safety and health conditions are identified and prioritized on the basis of the importance in the establishment of safe and healthy work environment. Design/methodology/approach From the literature review and inputs from the construction managers, key safety indicators were identified. The prioritization was accomplished using multi-criteria ranking method (MCRM). Dominance-based Rough Set (DRSA) is used for the ranking of indicators. It is based on Rough set theory which draws motivation from the indiscernibility relation be- tween the objects. The importance of each indicator is assessed by MCRM method in the contribution towards establishing a safe workplace environ- ment from different perspectives in a construction industry that includes management from top, middle and low-level management. Findings The role and involvement of management in the operations and con- stant interaction with workers were found to have a significant impact on the safety performance of the firms. Imparting necessary safety training to the employees and promoting a friendly atmosphere at the workplace aids in building the confidence of the workers that subsequently make them safety compliant. Dedicated staff to ensure that the workers are following safety protocols enlisted in safety manuals acquires an important place in the measurement of the safety performance of the firms. Practical implications The findings of the current study will help the senior management in the small scale Indian construction industry to gain a perspective to- wards the assessment of safety condition in the firms and establishing an efficient and easy-to-use safety assessment framework. It will also be useful for middle and low-level management, since they should read the results as a positive effect of their constant interaction with workers. Management is suggested to design a well-organized and detailed manual that docu- ments the safety-related information including the proper use of safety equipment and emergency procedures. Originality/value This paper proposes a safety framework for small-scale Indian construction industry for calibration and benchmarking safety performance of the employees. The mathematical foundation of the framework is the multi-criteria ranking based on Dominance based Rough set approach.

The search of a unified phenomenological model to understand this production mechanism is one of the main motivation behind the heavy ion experiments. A vast variety of data coming from nucleus-nucleus collision experiments put a stringent constraint on the particle production models. A unified and proper model must satisfy the various data regarding pseudorapidity distributions, transverse energy density distributions, transverse momentum distributions with respect to control parameters in different types of collisions at various energies simultaneously. Recently we proposed a new version of wounded quark model (WQM) which actually satisfies many points of this criteria. However, these kind of static initial model conditions have problem in calculating the transverse momentum distributions of charged hadrons. In this article, we have used the important ingredients of WQM like number of wounded quarks and number of quark-quark collisions to fit the transverse momentum spectra of charged hadrons. Based on the assumption of different mechanisms at different regions, i.e. different mechanisms for soft $ p_{T}$pT and hard momentum part, we have proposed a parameterization made of two functions to calculate the transverse momentum spectra in different collisions at different energies ranging from higher RHIC to LHC. We hope that this study along with our recent work on WQM will become a more suitable choice as unified model for particle production in strong interaction, instead of wounded nucleon model.
