Access to relevant and accurate information is at the heart of tourism, more so in this era of the Internet information overload has become a prevalent phenomenon and as such a serious issue for those seeking for appropriate information. Furthermore, various researches have been carried out on how to make information on tourism website more effective. Intelligent tourism information system tries to bridge the gap by noting what a tourist perceives as relevant, in terms of content pertaining to tourism products in tourism websites. Hence, the aim of this research entails the implementation of an intelligent platform that will assist tourists in gaining access to information on tourist locations in Nigeria. In view of the forgoing, the system was implemented using Rational Unified Process as the adopted software development process, whereas MySQL, HTML and PHP were the implementation tools used in the development of the system. It was also able to act intelligently by using hybrid recommendation technique to recommend tourist locations based on their preference.

It is crucial to notice that everyone is dependent on reliable and quality power supply. Modern economies are becoming increasingly dependent on reliable and secure electricity services. The paper examined the causes of power outages in Nigeria and the attributes of restructuring approach that have exhibited good reliability by creating a predictable environment that will help country attract outside investment in energy infrastructure. Integration, deployment of technologies that has the potential to substantially improve generation, transmission and distribution system flexibility.

Mitigating the problem of electrical fire outbreak in building, newer continuous monitoring technology has the potential to allow for earlier detection the aspirating smoke detection system (ASD) detect even the smallest aerosol concentration. [2] Because of the high levels of fault current and relatively high voltages typically associated with electric power distribution systems, these arcing faults carry high levels of energy, releasing a great deal of heat and pressure into the environment. The menace of power quality in generation depends on source of energy. Those tendencies are caused by different reasons, it include thermal limits, stability limits and the decrease of fossil fuel consumption. The most important issues in national grids are the power quality and supply reliability issues. In this paper, it provides a starting point for utilities in developing countries to better plan their systems to meet dispersed loads, while optimizing for renewables and other decentralized generation sources.

The penetration of renewable energy is on the rise worldwide. When interconnecting renewable energy sources with grids, various problems in rotor angle stability and voltage stability could occur. As penetration of renewable energy becomes increasingly larger in energy sources, the potential for sustainable energy that leads to major power outages increases, creating a need for heightened awareness. This paper is an attempt to optimize SCADA, which is a revolutionary development in grid network monitoring and control of processes, automation of energy distribution systems, generation of electricity, customer information system and engineering analysis. Facial emotions play a crucial role in non-verbal communication, as they reflect the internal feelings of individuals through expressions on their faces. Recognizing and interpreting these facial expressions have significant applications in various fields, especially human-computer interaction. In this journal, a facial emotion detection system based on convolutional neural networks (CNN) was developed. The primary objective was to classify facial images into different emotional categories. The CNN models were trained using grayscale images, and the training process was optimized by leveraging GPU computation. To accommodate new subjects efficiently, the last two layers of the CNN were selectively trained, reducing the overall training time. Image preprocessing steps were implemented in MATLAB, while the CNN algorithm was implemented in C language using the GCC compiler. A user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) in MATLAB seamlessly integrated all the processing steps, from image preprocessing to facial emotion detection. The performance evaluation was conducted using the FER2013 dataset, achieving an impressive accuracy of 78.2% with an average training time of less than 10 minutes when incorporating 1 to 10 new subjects into the system. This work demonstrates the effectiveness of CNN-based approaches for accurate and efficient facial emotion detection, offering promising results in real-world applications.
