    This research aims to improve the activities and results of learning mathematics using the discovery learning model. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. Subjects of this study was grade III B SDIT Generasi Rabbani Bengukulu. The data collection instrument used student activity observation sheets and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique uses arithmetic mean and the percentage of learning completeness. The results showed: 1) Teacher activity in the first cycle obtained an average of 3.38 and in the second cycle an average of 3.81, 2) Student activity in the first cycle obtained an average of 3.13 and in the second cycle an average of 3.67, 3) Learning result in the first cycle were obtained an average of 71.43 with learning completeness 64.29 %, an increase in the second cycle obtained an average value of 76.79 with 82.14% completeness learning.     This research is a development research that aims to find out how the development of LKPD based on CTL to improve the ability of mathematical communication and student self-efficacy. This research started from preliminary study, preparation of LKPD, LKPD validation, initial field test, and field test. The subjects of this study are students of class VII-A and VII-C SMP Negeri 1 Abung Tinggi Lesson Year 2016/2017. Preliminary study results indicate the need for the development of LKPDbased CTL approach. The preparation of LKPD begins with drafting the LKPD and all its components based on the guideline for the preparation of LKPD. Validation results indicate that LKPD has met the content and design feasibility standards. Field test results indicate that LKPD is included in either category.     Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa menggunakan pembelajaran soft skills komunikasi dengan pembelajaran biasa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMK yang berkemampuan sedang yang berada di lampng tengah, sedangkan sampelnya dipilih kelas XI yang berjumlah 50 orang dari satu SMK di lampung tengah yang   berkemampuan sedang. Instrumen pada penelitian ini berupa tes berbentuk soal uraian untuk tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis.     This research aims to develop students ’ worksheet - based on PBL and test its effectiveness toward studen ts’  mathematical communication skills and self confidence of class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. This research procedure uses the procedure by Tessmer, namely preliminary phase and formative evaluation phase which includes self evaluation, prototyping (expert reviews, one-to-one, small group) and field test. The data was obtained through mathematical communication test and self confidence scale.     This research development aimed to develop of TAPPS strategy worksheet for increasing mathematical communication ability. This study was initiated with preliminary studies, the composing, the validation, preliminary field testing, and main field testing. The subject of this research was students of VII D class of SMP N 1 Seputih Raman. The result of preliminary study indicated that there was a need to develop worksheet. The arranges of worksheet were started with the draft-preperation and all of components based on the composing guidelines. The result of the validation showed that the worksheet got the standard qualification for its content and design.     Research and development aims to produce LKPD with an effective scientific approach in terms of the ability to understand the concept of learners. The subject of this research is the students of class VII SMP Negeri 3 Batanghari Lesson Year 2017/2018. The design of this research is Pretest-posttest control group design. Research data obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests the ability of conceptual understanding. The t-test is performed to find out the average difference in conceptual comprehension. LKPD with developed scientific approach has been valid by material experts and media experts. The result of field test showed improvement of students' concept comprehension ability using LKPD with scientific approach showed 74% achievement and average gain of 0.73.     This research is aimed to determine the effectivity of cooperative learning model through Numbered Heads Together (NHT) by visual media on students’ achievement in material life organization of VII grade SMP Rehoboth. The research is quasi experimental design, with nonequivalen control group design. The research samples are VIIa and VIIb grade. The technique of data collecting is by using random sampling. The average score of the students’ achievement that has been teach by using Numbered Heads Together (NHT) of cooperative learning model with visual media is 14,89 as higher than the conventional model of 11,29. The t-test in standard 5%  shows tcount= 5,023 bigger than its comparation to ttable = 1,679, it means there is a significant difference in the post-test result.  The counting of effect size is 1,27 it includes high, so the concluded that Numbered Heads Together (NHT) of cooperative learning model with visual media gave 39,80% of contribution on students’ achievement.Key wor...

    This study aims to determine the improvement of students' mathematical communication skills in online learning by using instructional video media. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects were students of class VIII in a private Junior High School in Bandar Lampung City. There are two classes in this study, namely the experimental class consisted of 33 students and the control class consisted of 33 students. The experimental class received online learning using instructional video media, while the control class used the method without giving intructional videos. The research instrument used a mathematical communication ability test. The results showed that the inprovement in mathematical communication skills in the experimental class was better than the control class

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model probing-prompting ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 9 Kota Sorong tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdiri dari 8 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-C yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah one shot case study. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes uraian berpikir kritis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, persentase siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan baik kurang dari 65%. Dengan demikian, model probing-prompting tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.
