Daniele Gizzi, Environmental Manager, AITEC
Since 2008 he was involved in environmental issues (legislative and technical development) of the cement sector at national (AITEC) and EU Level(CEMBUREAU. Mr. Gizzi was in charge of representing the Italian cement sector, concerning uses of alternative fuels and raw materials.
He is a full Member of the National end European Committees about waste management, permitting, environmental impact assessment, industrial emissions. Mr. Gizzi was recently nominated as expert by Environmental Ministry to develop national “End of waste Criteria for solid recovered fuels". He worked in the renewable energy sector as a consultant for National Committee for the Environmental Impact Assessment procedures – Italian Ministry for the environment (2004- 2006) and as Project engineer in R&D project about waste to energy in collaboration with EEC- MURST –CNR.
