A quelle date ?

ABSTRACT. The efforts of theorizing and modelising in modern and contemporary anthropology have to be considered a failure in so far as theyare the expression of an error, of an ideology qualified as haughty and disdainful eurocentrism. One should leave behind such subjective formsof anthropology nourished by prejudice and wild interpretation in order to turn to shared anthropology which tells us about the exchangebetween enquires and enquirer really engaged in sharing ideas and experience, as the anthropogeographical and anticonformist approach ofJean Malaurie notably illustrates. Anthropogeography is contextual and situational : the life of the first nations depends fundamentally ontheir relations with the environment. These nations are at one with nature : man and the universe represent a coherent whole, hence the needfor a resolute anthropology of the mystic.Key-words : Africa, first nations, anthropology, wisdom, Jean Malaurie, eurocentrism, tradition.
