Ecomuseo Casilino
The Ecomuseum Casilino ad Duas Lauros Association promotes research activities in the fields of local cultural heritage, intercultural dialogue, common goods management. Through the spread of knowledge of the local heritage we support processes of social and cultural inclusion, community welfare. Through participatory design we stimulate the community to take care of its own territoty, creating shared urban planning, valorization paths of cultural heritage and a sustainable development. We want to create new models for the regeneration of peripheral areas, far from the fashion of gentrification, from the predatory development, from the speculation. We work in Tor Pignattara neighborhood, the multiethnic heart of Rome.
