Sanctions, as a foreign policy tool, aim to impose economic, political, or cultural pressure on a targeted country or group to achieve specific goals. Cultural globalization, on the other hand, refers to the spread and exchange of ideas, values, practices, and beliefs across borders. Writers argue that sanctions, often employed for political or economic reasons, can have unintended cultural consequences due to the interconnected nature of today's globalized world. Drawing on interdisciplinary research, this article analyses theoretical frameworks to examine the multifaceted impact of sanctions on cultural globalization. It also discusses the potential ethical and moral implications arising from the use of sanctions and offer recommendations for policymakers and international actors to navigate this complex landscape.

(EN) The space has always been a subject matter of a deed and performing from ancient times until today. However the space should not be perceived as an existence that is materialized solely through the structure. The space is a phenomenon that contains social events besides being an outcome of relations that build the society. What we refer as organisation of a space is actually about how the social information regarding the same space is formed and evolves. This study's purpose can be summarized as uncovering the components of aforementioned organisation in the conditions of capitalism.

Coursehouses are for-profit companies that complement the educational efforts of lecturers at public schools. Students who are registered at public schools where education is provided for free pay privately hired teachers to instruct them about the test techniques in mathematics, Turkish grammar, natural sciences, and social sciences. The only function of coursehouses is that courses offered at these institutions support the students to get higher scores in several tests without teaching the students about the philosophical and historical depths of the subjects. The primary concern at coursehouses is to make the students able to find the correct answer in a multiple-choice exam question as fast as possible. Coursehouses do so without spending sufficient amount of time for teaching the philosophy of the subject. In contrary to the courses offered by the lecturers at public schools, coursehouse teachers have little or no intellectual concern about the subjects being taught. In this paper, we claim that coursehouses as a new institution in the Turkish higher education system have degenerating consequences on the efficiency of public schools. Since multiple-choice exams do not contain questions about the intellectual aspects of the subjects being taught, students content that public schools can never provide the students with the skills that they require in getting jobs. As a consequence, coursehouses are seen as a necessary stage at one’s professional career that equips a student with the required test techniques to find a decent job at a governmental office after graduation. Students are then less interested in becoming an educated citizen than opportunistically finding a job after graduation.
