Companies around the world become more specialised and focused on their core competencies and rely largely on niche markets. On the other hand, it is noteworthy that management change is process that undoubtedly generates a perceived efficacy among workforce. This fact may signify the generation of key-organizational behavior indicators, such as job satisfaction. This study is theoretically exploring the relationship between the perceived efficacy of a management change process and job satisfaction.

By using cloud computing, public organizations can exploit the economies of scale and innovate both efficiency and rapidly. The present study focuses on the factors influencing the adoption of a new technological application within the procedures of change management. It examines the willingness to adopt cloud computing for the case of administrative employees in a higher education institute working environment. A prediction model explores a Ubiquitous cloud computing adoption system (USAS), utilizing the theory of technology acceptance model (TAM) and resulting that end users are welcoming the adoption of the cloud computing. Policy makers should move towards empowering the stakeholders with e-skills to stimulate technology driven innovation, resulting in improvements in effectiveness and efficiency, in the crea...

A common one is the daily contact we all have with new technologies, through banking transactions. Banking networks offer the opportunity to their customers to interact directly with their accounts. New technologies give us the ability to perform banking transactions with no restrictions regarding the location, or the time. The quantity of the personal contacts with tellers has been decreased ever since ATMs, POS, telephone banking, TV-banking, internet banking and mobile banking have turn bank customer and employee life easier. Customers belonging to diversified target groups (age, education, wealth, social status, disabilities and others) are expected to overcome fears and trust themselves on conducting the financial transactions on their own, by using efficiently the new technologies offered, or “imposed” in some cases, by the banks. The paper investigates how the rate of growth of new transaction modes, reveals the increasing degree of adoption and familiarisation of the society with the era of electronic banking, via the daily continuous training offered by electronic banking transactions.

Diffusion theory is tested using a small-scale sample of IPM farmers from three sites (Washington, California and Massachusetts, USA).

Based on the theory of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) the proposed methodology is investigating how employees’ demographic and psychographic variables affects their beliefs about their self-efficacy on using the new information technology, as well as about the technology’s ease of use and usefulness. The survey was conducted in a sample of 697 bank employees in several bank institutions in Greece using a dedicated research instrument. The results indicated that employees’ self-efficacy and perception about technology’s ease of use and usefulness are affected by their level of education, while employees’ age is related to employees’ self-efficacy and technology easiness and not to technology usefulness. As far as the employee’s psychographic variables are concerned, contrary to previous research efforts, mood has not revealed any impact on their beliefs about the technology characteristics. Finally, theoretical contributions and practical implications of the findings are discussed and suggestions for future research are presented.
