I review aspects of the theoretical calculation of K → πH and briefly compare the theoretical expectation with the present experimental observations.

In particular, we clarify how a new parameter (the A parameter) emerges when the chiral Lagrangian method is combined with the Higgs low-energy theorems to obtain predictions for the interaction of Higgs bosons and pseudoscalar mesons. The computation of the Higgs–nucleon coupling and the branching ratios for light Higgs boson production in the decays K → πH and η′ → ηH are illustrated.

The important features of these decays are illustrated and their phenomenological implications discussed. In general, this class of two-body decays is dominant for the heaviest charginos and neutralinos.
