Igor Ulangin and Small press “Free Poetry” (a publishing house that produces books in a small circulation for a narrow readership). created in 2004 as an instrument for the development and deepening of cultural events at the initiative of the artist Igor Ulangin and in collaboration with the poet Gennady Aigi.
Text, drawings, and reproduction are the main and closely intertwined aspects of publishing behavior.
Publications, mainly in a limited edition, about 10 titles per year, focuses on alternative aspects of culture related to experimental printed graphics, contemporary poetry, and the art of translation.
Currently cooperates: with the NCCA "Arsenal" N. Novgorod, the Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Kazan and the Aksenov House in Kazan.
