The research was performed with the analysis of the academic production in Colombian psychology found in the journals specialized in the discipline. The impact of the Colombian academic production is determined from the results given by the data bases WoS and Scopus. There is a low consumption index from the academic community of psychologists in Colombia. The impact of the academic production in Colombian psychology is the result of a network made up of national researchers with the international academic community located in USA and Europe. 82% of these publications are done in international journals and 77% of these are in English. The Colombian psychology fields generating the highest impact in academic productions are: Neuropsychology, Clinical, Social, Education, Experimental, Organizational, and Cognitive. The network created between the national academic community and the Latin American is very incipient. This illustrates weaknesses which require strengthening from institutional structures and the improvement of the quality of the fundamental Colombian psychology journals in order for the discipline to move forward in our country. The development of the academic production in Colombia is very recent and it finds itself in the consolidation stage. A more substantial networking infrastructure is required by the academic community in our country to achieve a far-reaching academic production with a high impact.

We extracted a dataset from the Web of Science's principal collection from 1975 to 2017. This contained a total sample of 2,163 scientific documents, which were processed using Excel and SciMat programmes. The bibliometric indicators used were H-Classics, TC2, identification of the most commonly cited authors and journals, and references. We used Lotka's Law to analyse research productivity. Results showed that the content included 48.6% scientific articles and 42.1% book reviews. Spain had the highest number of articles published. Burrhus Skinner, Rubén Ardila, Rogelio Díaz Guerrero, and Albert Bandura were the most commonly cited authors. Analyses revealed certain strengths of and challenges faced by the RLP. Future research should compare these results with journals from other countries.

Therefore, it analyzed a sample of 384 articles in the field of critical social psychology published by 18 journals indexed in QUALIS (Categories A1 and A2 in psychology area). The publication and citation information were obtained from ISI Web of Science database. Bibliometric analyses were performed using VOSviewer 1.6.9 software to identify indicators such as reference publication year spectroscopy (RPYS) of historical works, consumption, semantic maps and coauthorship. The results indicate that the academic production of Brazilian critical social psychology represents a socially significant and important impact on the country. The journals in which these studies were published have helped consolidate a strong and representative local academic community of the critical social psychology movement in Brazil, and their progressive and ascendant influence has also contributed to other countries of the region.

Nevertheless, it is still a field of knowledge which has not been fully differentiated from its crisis-mainly-because an exhaustive ontological categorical demand has not been made. From the analysis of Ian Parker's critical discourse psychology (CDP) and critical psychology, we observed the causes and consequences of the introduction of scientific realism as an intermediate stage in the elaboration of what has been called radical metapsychological project or a general critic of psychology. We reviewed, from the quantitative method multi-RPYS references, an approximate of 51 papers and 10 books of Ian Parker's work analyzed by the web program RPYS i/o. From the start, CDP and PCL avoided the short form of the critic, which is barely a differentiation from the totality of dominant psychology. Instead, they announced, implicitly, some methodological and theoretical tools which could be useful to prevent its definite adhesion to postmodernism, where "anything goes" is its most manifest condition.
