Here he describes his own theoretical model of the reincarnation process -- based on empirical data. He suggests, in agreement with F.W.H. Myers, that the stream of consciousness contains both a supraliminal and a subliminal component. This consciousness can exist independent of the physical body. It interacts with the body through psychokinesis. Reincarnation, then, occurs through a process akin to possession.

Here he suggests that the criterion of "falsifiability", as defined by the philosopher Karl Popper, has limited applicability in science. He argues that we should consider the scientific feasibility of hypotheses that are not currently falsifiable. This new term in the Philosophy of Science is called. "Lower Dimensional Feasibility, Absent Falsification” (LFAF) . Feasibility is particularly true in the social sciences -- as well as in physical sciences involving more than three dimensions of space and one dimension in time. LFAF has important applications in the Forensic Sciences and in Medicine where feasibility may be more important than Falsifiability, and there are areas of science called pseudoscience.despite the methodology (e.g. parapsychology, consciousness research) and yet Cosmology and Evolution are ‘scientific’ despite not being falsifiable.

Here he reviews our knowledge of reincarnation beliefs among the ancient Aryans, Hindus, Buddhists, Greeks, Romans, Jews, and early Christians. He notes that each of these cultures had contact with primitive, tribal peoples who based their reincarnation beliefs upon the sort of psychophysical signs that are observed today. Eventually each of these cultures elaborated their reincarnation beliefs.

Here he discusses visions of future humanity to be found in the science fiction literature and elsewhere. He emphasizes Charles Darwin's observation that, in the distant future, all of the species currently alive will have evolved into new forms. He suggests many different possibilities for humans and indicates that we may be able to select our future evolution -- if we decide to choose wisely. He acknowledges that, for some, this will seem like blasphemy and playing god.

Here he points out that, while the term Gnosticism is very popular, few people really understand what it means. While it is a very loose religious movement, it does have certain common elements. Among these are the idea that our world is under the sway of a malevolent deity who is served by powers and principalities. He traces Gnostic movements such as Manicheism, Mazdakism, and the Cathars. He also discusses the rebirth of Gnosticism in our age, due to the rediscovery of the Nag Hammadi library.

Here he presents his hypothesis that Plato constructed several "noble lies" in the course of his dialogues. Foremost among these was the existence of the supersensible world of ideal forms. He suggests that Plato is something of a joker, endeavoring to combine both tragedy and comedy in his dialogues. To highlight this point he refers to the popular film, The Dark Night, in which Batman is compelled, for good reasons, to lie to the people of Gotham.

He points to discussions of the group mind in psychology, sociology, Theosophy, and in religious studies. He suggests that the group mind can be either positive or negative in terms of its impact upon individuals. He maintains that trance-maintainers and trance-breakers are both necessary.

Here he suggests that group trance states create a self-conscious group mind. Generally, the group self-consciousness is less evolved than individual self-consciousness. He points to discussions of the group mind in psychology, sociology, Theosophy, and in religious studies. He suggests that the group mind can be either positive or negative in terms of its impact upon individuals. He maintains that trance-maintainers and trance-breakers are both necessary.

Here he explains why human free will is inconsistent with the scientific notion of a deterministic universe. It is also inconsistent with the theological notion of an omniscient and omnipotent deity. He argues that free will is also inconsistent with quantum randomness. However, he argues that free will is logically consistent with William James' notion of a pluralistic universe, as well as with polytheistic and animistic views.

Here, he describes how the mystical Hebrew Kabbalah bears an uncanny resemblance to the metaparadigm he has developed with his partner, physicist Edward R. Close. He notes that both approaches suggest a mathematical structure underlying the known universe. Both approaches contain dimensions of consciousness. Both address the relationship between the finite and the infinite.

Here, he describes his creative relationship with Dr. Edward R. Close -- and their work together in developing a comprehensive "theory of everything". He points out that they met through the exceptional IQ society, the International Society for Philosophical Enquiry. He adds that they each saw the need to work together immediately upon reading each other's work, without ever having met in person. He describes the remarkable complementary nature of their ideas.

Here she describes a range of theoretical developments in the field of neuroscience relating to how the mind influences the brain. She cites the theories of Nobel laureates Roger Sperry and Sir John Eccles. She also describes in some detail how quantum mechanical fluctuations could influence consciousness. She notes that this research and theoretical work is consistent with the view of consciousness developed within Kashmir Shaivism.

Here he describes "agape" as a form of love in which the well-being of the beloved person is the foremost and only consideration. "Eros" on the other hand, is a selfish form of love, based on the lover's impulse to satisfy their desire for their beloved person. He describes agape as the "conscience of eros" and maintains that, without agape, eros can degenerate into an endless cycle of greed. Both eros and agape are necessary.

Here he suggests that the available case history data on reincarnation does not support the popular notion of "karma". The case history data does, however, support the sanskrit notion of "samskaras" or the continuation of psychological tendencies. Matlock suggests that this is "dispositional karma". He provides a number of interesting examples.

Here she describes the many obstacles that researchers and scholars in academia face when endeavoring to explore human consciousness. Even long-standing areas of research, such as meditation, are shown little respect in the mainstream neuroscience publications. She attributes much of the bias to the materialistic outlook that dominates academic thinking. However, she does see some signs that the situation is easing for consciousness researchers.

Here he reviews the history of tantric practices and distinguishes tantra from conventional forms of Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) and Buddhism. He notes that a major thrust of tantra is to challenge the conventional mores of society. Therefore, today's tantric practitioners will, necessarily, have different challenges than in earlier generations. He relates tantric practice to modern philosophical traditions, particularly Friedrich Nietzsche's Will to Power.

Here he describes encounters with alien gray beings as described by several different sources, particularly Whitley Strieber. He expresses his opinion that they represent a possible future evolution of humanity. He claims that they are associated with the trickster archetype and are not what they appear to be. He also notes that the "grays" are associated with tall, insectoid beings.
