Sua teologia influenciou diversos outros pensadores cristãos, a exemplo, Dionísio o Areopagita. Dionísio provavelmente foi um monge que viveu entre o fim do século V e início do VI e sua teologia possui conceitos ontológicos de Deus que demonstram ser um reflexo do pensamento do Alexandrino. Sendo assim, a problemática deste trabalho é identificar se há influências de Orígenes sobre Dionísio, e em caso positivo, quais seriam essas inferências. O objetivo do artigo é comparar a visão de Deus de Orígenes e de Dionísio e suas possíveis implicações. Quanto à metodologia adotada, a pesquisa usa abordagem qualitativa, é de natureza pura e explicativa, e quanto aos procedimentos, bibliográfica.
This study analyzes the understanding of Joseph Bates, one of the main pioneers of movement the S... more This study analyzes the understanding of Joseph Bates, one of the main pioneers of movement the Seventh-day Adventist, on the doctrine of atonement in the plan of salvation. All his theology is consigned in a prophetic schema that makes necessary to study his understanding on atonement and salvation within this structure. He saw both atonement and salvation as a process and not as a punctual act. For Bates, the work of Christ in favor of humanity is done in two stages, the first being the forgiveness of sins and the last their purification. The pioneer was not concern in explaining this process of atonement in two stages, because for him salvation and full atonement were an integral part of the great prophetic historical context of the conflict between good and evil. Bates defended the importance of the obedience to God's law, especially in the time of the end, for the process of purification of the character; but he believed that man is saved by grace and not by the obedience t...

As filosofias helênicas tiveram larga influência no mundo greco-romano. Teólogos da era patrístic... more As filosofias helênicas tiveram larga influência no mundo greco-romano. Teólogos da era patrística são um exemplo desse alcance helenístico até mesmo na teologia da igreja cristã primitiva. Orígenes, teólogo cristão do terceiro século, em seus escritos, apresenta conceitos ontológicos helenistas, que podem ser vistos na teologia oriental depois dele. O objetivo deste estudo é analisar a influência do epicurismo e o estoicismo, duas escolas filosóficas do helenismo, na visão de Deus de Orígenes e sua implicação na contemporaneidade. Para o desenvolvimento do presente trabalho foi utilizado o método de análise bibliográfica. Dentre os autores pesquisados destaca-se Geovanne Reale e Justo González. A pesquisa conclui que Orígenes foi influenciado pelo neoplatonismo, a filosofia corrente em Alexandria na sua época, sistematizada com bases estoicas. O neoplatonismo posteriormente influenciou Agostinho, e a teologia cristã latina medieval e atual.
