Se interpreta la conformación de Accrochage (Roberto Obregón, Sigfredo Chacón, Héc- tor Fuenm... more Se interpreta la conformación de Accrochage (Roberto Obregón, Sigfredo Chacón, Héc- tor Fuenmayor, Eugenio Espinoza y Alfred Wenemoser) a partir del concepto de montaje, y cómo el grupo inaugura las prácticas conceptuales en la ciudad de Caracas en sintonía con un discurso escéptico de la modernidad venezolana y de la narrativa oficial de progreso representada por el concretismo.

Con antecedentes en el futurismo italiano y un nacimiento al calor de las fiestas en el barrio caraqueño de Propatria, el tuky se convirtió en una desafiante manera de ser joven en Venezuela, más allá de la polarización en tiempos del chavismo y de las anacrónicas divisiones entre alta y baja cultura.

Este número de Nierika Revista de Estudios de Arte se concentrará en el estudio de las práctic... more Este número de Nierika Revista de Estudios de Arte se concentrará en el estudio de las prácticas artísticas, públicas y críticas, para reflexionar sobre el concepto de migración. Se propuso construir esta reflexión a partir del entendimiento del cuerpo migrante como el dato que puede hacer visible y enunciable las condiciones estético-materiales producidas por la globalización contemporánea; particularmente, la manera en que el diferencial entre las lógicas de la mercancía y las de la fuerza de trabajo necesariamente genera fenómenos de violencia y precarización. En específico, los artículos de esta edición abordan dichas prácticas artísticas a partir de tres registros o cortes conceptuales: habitar, narrar y representar.
