    The paper proposes a survey of the existing methods for storing large length loads and considers a new storing method. The method is realized by the design of an original construction – an overhead S/R machine with shortened columns. The new construction yields decrease of the machine mass and the energy consumption of storehouse manipulations. A method of finding the productivity of the new machine is also proposed. Recommendations for how to correctly choose the speed of the mechanisms that provide the hoist capability and drive of an S/R machine are given.

    In the paper it is noted that the even distribution of seed and granules of mineral fertilizers inside the soil allows increasing their efficiency and obtaining a potential crop yield. For an even distribution of seeds of grain crops, herbs and fertilizer granules inside the soil, the use of a universal conical scatterer is proposed. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the parameters of a universal conical scatterer, which ensures an even distribution of metered bulk and hard-flowing materials, in particular, seed and granules of mineral fertilizers inside the soil. The results of studies of the conical scatterer of an opener allow to establish that to obtain an even distribution of materials in the direction transverse to the translational speed it is necessary to cut an elliptical section of the scatterer.     In this paper we assess the time of drying for any fruits under natural heat radiation. In order to assess the time period of drying process we use the method described in (1) being supplemented by an experimental technique. We show that the drying speed is a polynomial of third degree w.r.t. the quantity of the solid substance. This help us to estimate the time period of drying.

Sci., 20: 1513-1521 For a uniform distribution of mineral fertilizer on sowing openers by main distributor it is necessary, firstly, to ensure a stable distribution law of particles in a cross-section of material supply tube on the input to a working body. Then propose a mode for dispersion of loose material with stable characteristics. The first problem is solved by introduction of a turn (bow section) in transportation tube, and the second problem by installation of quadruple helical spiral with linear shift of the beginning of winds as a whirler in a stream of moving material.     An alternative method for kinematic and power analysis of compound gear train is presented, which uses the torques and lever analogy of a given gear train. The method combines the accuracy of the Willis analytical method with the clarity of the graphic method of Kutzbach. Unlike these methods, the torque method allows determining not only the gear ratio, but the magnitude and direction of power flows, and hence the determination of efficiency of a given compound planetary gear train. The application of the method is illustrated with example of complex change-gear (gear-box).

    Аbstract: The paper proposed the construction of the opener, which provides an even distribution of granular fertilizer in the soil. The purpose of the study-the rationale cone-shaped distributor opener. The task of research-research of laws expiration pellet fertilizer on a truncated cone. To justify the cone-shaped distributor opener projection transformation methods used in descriptive geometry. The studies found that for uniform pellets expiry of fertilizers and other bulk materials on the surface of the cone-valve pilot opener transverse to the forward speed, do the elliptical section of the latter. For this cutting plane must be perpendicular to the forward velocity, and cross all the generators of the cone angle between it and the central axis of the latter, than π/2.

Sci., 22: 862–868 Existing seeder openers for intrasoil broadcast sowing of grain crops do not fully provide quality seeds scattering. Low nonuniformity of seeds scattering can be assured by vibro-distributers but they have a complicated design. An original opener design for quality intrasoil broadcast sowing is proposed. The V-shaped sweep of the opener consists of cutting blades which create a closed subsoil space. A pendulum scatterer in the form of a hemisphere is pivotally suspended inside. Theoretical studies are based on classical mechanics. As a result of theoretical investigation, an expression is obtained for determination of the length of a grain fallen in the under-sweep space.
