She worked as a Scientific Research Assistant at the Medical University of Lübeck/Germany for 12 years performing her biochemical enzymatic studies: enzymatic gene regulation, cancer research, enzymatic mechanisms of steroid hormones. She worked in different institutes: Institute for Molecular Biology, Institute for Biochemical Endocrinology, Laboratory of Neurology.For more than two years she worked as a Temporary Lecturer for organic, inorganic chemistry and for analyses of water at the technical college of higher education for engineers at Lübeck.She started her homeopathic career as a Lecturer for classical homeopathy at DHU ((Deutsche Homöopathie Union, German homeopathy Union) in Karlsruhe 1986-1994. Since 1995, Dr. Lenger has been working as a non-medical practitioner and Lecturer for classical homeopathy in Europe. Over the years she has developed the “biochemical homeopathy” by using substrates, inhibitors and enzymes of pathological pathways in high levels of potentization. 1. Six nucleoside-nucleotide phosphotransferases A-F were isolated from chromatin of Morris Hepatoma 9121 cells and characterized. 2. The apparent mol wt are: 13,000 daltons for A, 35,000 or 70,000 for B and E, 240,000 for C, 180,000 for D and 300,000-400,000 for F. 3. The sedimentation values are: 2.5-3 S for A, 3 or 5 S for B and E, 11 S for C, 7-8 S for D and 14 S for F. 4. The activity of the six enzymes A-F was stimulated with 1-2.5 micrograms calf thymus DNA using thymidine/ATP as substrates. 5. In the presence of defined polydeoxynucleotides, each enzyme A-F showed a differential preference for its substrates.

A quality control method of highly diluted and potentized homeopathic remedies is important for curing patients applying homeopathic therapy. Lenger detected photons in highly potentized homeopathic remedies by delayed luminescence. The photons of Argentum metallicum 100MK and Cantharis 100MK magnetically bound to their carrier substances ethanol or saccharose were separated by their resonating magnetic field of about 2.06 MHz. The photons of these 100MK potency levels and of their reference substances were determined to be standard values calculated by the B2-values of Bajpai's equation derived from the Hamiltonian equation. The stability of ethanolic Argentum metallicum 100MK and Cantharis 100MK declined to 1/3 of their photons within a month in contrast to saccharose globules with Argentum metallicum 100MK having been stable during the period of these investigations for almost 1 year. Some remedies delivered as CMK potency had been proved to be ethanol. The testing amount of high ethanolic potencies is limited to 40 μl because 80 μl resulted in an attenuation of the photons; 40 μl equal 16 medicated saccharose globules. Six unknown homeopathic remedies could be identified as increasing potency levels of Argentum metallicum from 100MK to 1.000MK which indicates a calibration curve. The homeopathic factories having sent the unknown remedies confirmed the measurements. A quality control of homeopathic remedies is possible by comparing the different B2-values of the remedies and their carrier substances.

Desperate cancer patients very often prefer alternative medicine as homeopathy after unsuccessful treatment by radiation and chemotherapy. After the detection of magnetic photons in homeopathic remedies by Lenger homeopathy can be seen as an energetic medicine. According to Lenger's biochemical and biophysical model of homeopathy 15 patients having cancer in the endocrine system, lymph nodes and relapses were treated.They all reported a hypofunction of the thyroid at the beginning of their illness. To achieve a normally working thyroid, all patients got an unusual mixture of 50µg potassium jodide, 55mg calcium and the corresponding highly potentised homeopathic remedies in 50M as Iodium, Calcium-salts for the incorporation and regulation of calcium and iodium. The additional therapy consisted of the highly potentised gland, its specific hormone and potentised substrates of the fatty acid metabolism. Lenger developed a biochemical and biophysical model of homeopathic function. Each living system a compressed electromagnetic wave, a frequency pattern, uptakes and emitts photons (Popp). The enzymes of biological systems need energy for working, photons are uptaken and emitted after their work. In an ill person the normal frequency pattern is changed.
