    With the increase in the crisis, not only have awareness been created but an active participation of clinical psychologist in the various fields have been observed which may be beneficial to the people but can also be burdensome for the personnel working in the field. To investigate the association between hardiness, coping strategies and professional quality of life among practicing clinical psychologists. Correlational Research design was employed on 80 clinical psychologist selected through purposive sampling between the ages of 26 to 40 years. Participants were assessed using Hardiness Resilience Gauge Scale, Brief Cope Inventory and Professional Quality of Life scale. The data was analyzed using SPSS version 22. The data analyzed showed an association between the study variables. Multiple hierarchal regression analysis revealed that prediction exists between variables. The findings were further discussed in the light of existing literature and theory.

    The increasing use of Instagram use leads to internalization of unrealistic standards of society that youth intend to be a part of is likely to lead to a number of psychological concerns. The current study investigates the relationship of Instagram usage with body surveillance and fear of missing out. The study also aimed to find gender difference in instagram usage, body surveillance and fear of missing out. Correlational study design was used. A sample of 200 males and females were included between the ages of 18-25 years recruited from different universities of Lahore. Instagram addiction scale, Body Surveillance Scale and Fear of missing out scale were used in the study. Pearson Product Moment Coefficient and Independent Sample t test were used to test the objectives of the study using SPSS-21.     Background Pakistan has one of the highest rates of chronic liver disease (CLD) burden in the world. Poor and underserved patients of CLD in the country may suffer from limited health-seeking behaviors, but there is not much research in this area. The aim of this study is to identify the factors influencing health-seeking behaviors in CLD patients to better plan support for these patients. Methods We conducted a cross-sectional study. Data was collected over a four-month period from May 2022 to August 2022. A total of 850 patients visiting the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Centre were part of the study.     This study explains the relationship between social isolation, mindfulness, and mental well-being among Covid-19 survivor university students. Data were collected from 200 Covid-19 survivor university students (M=94; F=106) from Punjab Pakistan. Results found high social isolation to be linked with low mental well-being, however, a significant positive relationship between mindfulness and mental well-being was found. Further, social isolation and mindfulness emerged as significant predictors of mental well-being. This research sheds light on the significance of mindfulness, and social connections in daily life, especially during periods of isolation during Covid-19. Present findings have implications for psychologists, counselors, mental health practitioners, teachers, and parents.

    Architecture is all about understanding the impact of design on satisfaction, mental health and general wellbeing . “We shape our building and building shape us”, mused Winston Churchill in 1943 while considering the repair of the bomb-ravaged House of Commons. Built Environment has a significant impact on health and well-being. Unsatisfactory spatial relations and low quality of built environment may cause numerous stressors and reflect in users’ health, both in their physical conditions as well as mental health problems. In this article the different mental health problems and their possible solutions with built environment planning are reviewed and discussed. This article also focuses on to develop a more holistic approach that encourages mental health and help patients live happier and healthier life.

    The COVID-19 pandemic continues to bring colossal impact on families, particularly on marital adjustments. This paper reports findings of a study that examined perceptions of home demands, social support, and marital adjustment among women during COVID-19. A sample of 252 women was taken. Participants were administered a Demographic information sheet, Home Demands Questionnaire, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, and Enrich Marital Satisfaction Scale. The data was analysed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Multiple Linear Regression analysis. Results revealed a significant negative relationship between perceptions of home demands and social support, and marital adjustment, and also a significant positive relation between social support and marital adjustment among women.     The present study compared resilience, perceived social support and locus of control among mothers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and normal children. Comparative research design was used. Through purposive sampling, data were collected from 200 mothers, having ASD (n=100) and normal (n=100) children. Children’s age ranged between 3-12 years (M=6.6; SD=2.4), 78% of the children were first born males. Participants were assessed through Resilience scale (Wagnild & Young, 1993), The multidimensional scale of perceived social support (Zimet, Dahlem, Zimet, & Farley, 1988), Locus of control scale (Rotter, 1966) and Demographic information sheet. The results showed significant differences in resilience and locus of control in mothers of children with ASD and normal children.     The present study aimed to investigate the personality traits (extroversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, openness & neuroticism), religiosity and sensation seeking behavior among homosexual males of Lahore. Through snowball sampling 100 male homosexuals, with an age range between 19-59 years (M.A=27.01; S.D= 7.23) were included in the study. Majority of participants were middle born (39%), last born (34%), first born (12%) and only child (15%). Moreover, 3% had done Matric, 20% had done intermediate, 43% had completed their bachelors, 21% had done masters whereas, 13% had other education.     This research has developed The Academic Achievement Risk Assessment Scale [AARS], for identification of the factors which influence performance of undergraduate (448 students); studying at three universities of Lahore, Pakistan. An 18-item scale, with five distinct factors was developed which included lack of motivation, dysfunctional parental practices, parental involvement in drug abuse or antisocial activities, difficulty with peers, and language barrier. The results revealed differences among low, medium and high academic CGPA groups as all five risk factors were significantly related to the low achieving group.     This study aims to explore the relationship between the perception of home demands, demography and mental health of married women during the COVID-19 pandemic. The predictive role of perception of home demands, and demographics has also been assessed, in determining the mental health of married women during the pandemic. A sample of 250 married Pakistani women, between 20 to 55 years, with at least one child and minimum matric qualification, were included in the study. Participants were administered a self-constructed questionnaire. Regression analysis showed that quantitative home demands and husband’s employment status were significant negative predictors of anxiety and depression in women, whereas emotional home demands and mental home demands were significant positive predictors of depression, anxiety, and stress in married women.     Objective: To compare the depression, anxiety symptoms and coping styles among early and late adolescent students. Study Design: Cross-sectional. Place and Duration of study: Study was carried out at University of the Punjab, Lahore from 17 February to 31st August 2010. Methods: A purposive sample of 600 students (boys=300; girls=300) was divided into two age groups; early adolescents (13-15 years) and late adolescents (16-18 years). Participants were administered beck anxiety inventory, beck depression inventory-II and coping strategies questionnaire. Data was analyzed on SPSS 14 version using independent sample t test. Results: The overall results of the study indicated that early adolescents exhibit more depression and anxiety symptoms as compared to the late adolescents.
