Prikazan je razvoj slovarskega opisa v izbranih slovarjih slovenskega jezika (zlasti v Slovarju novejšega besedja slovenskega jezika, SSKJ-ju 2, eSSKJ-ju).

It can, therefore, be claimed that the Slovenian Module within the LanGuide project is timely and should be considered a welcome resource for exploitation on the mobile devices. The paper seeks to present the Slovenian Module from its inception, but it also gives a critical evaluation of what can be expected from this new resource. The theoretical part of the present article gives an overview of language guidance apps for learning foreign languages, including the ones for learning Slovenian, as well as making a comparison between apps and textbooks. The central part of the article thoroughly examines the Slovenian language exercises developed within the LanGuide project: the three levels of exercises, their types, and the skills learners gain by doing them. Unlike other Slovenian language apps, the Lan-Guide App offers its users-students, university professors, and administrative workers-vocabulary and grammar exercises for mobility, academic, i t, and administrative languages. As LanGuide App is relatively new, a substantial part of the article focuses on the evaluation of the app, namely, the technical and content-related advantages and shortcomings of this app, as well as offering guidelines for further work.

Afterward, the article also offers an insight into Slovene as a second/foreign language, which more and more people have been learning in recent times. The main part of the article is to introduce the methodology of creating exercises for e-learning Slovene from A1 to B1 levels. To make it easier for the user to learn the language, the exercises are upgraded in terms of content and grammar. The paper presents ten examples of exercises for all three levels on the topic of mobility, in which the grammar and the vocabulary are based on narrowed thematic sections (greetings, presentations, numbers, countries, nationalities, languages, travel, and accommodation).

This is followed by an outline of the phonemes’ distribution and origin, and categorization of the Kopriva local dialect in the subgroup of Karst local dialects.
