Introducao : o transtorno de ansiedade generalizada (TAG) esta entre os transtornos da ansiedade ... more Introducao : o transtorno de ansiedade generalizada (TAG) esta entre os transtornos da ansiedade e, consequentemente, transtornos mentais, mais frequentemente encontrados na psicologia clinica. Embora visto inicialmente como um transtorno leve, atualmente se avalia que o TAG e uma doenca cronica, associado a uma morbidade relativamente alta e a altos custos individuais e sociais. Objetivo : realizar uma revisao bibliografica com a finalidade analisar os aspectos epidemiologicos do TAG. Metodologia : a revisao dos artigos foi realizada nas bases de dados eletronicas LILACS, MEDline, Journals , Scielo , RBTCC e Health Reference Center Academic . Resultados : das 50 referencias encontradas foram utilizados 23 artigos para investigar os aspectos epidemiologicos do TAG, dentre os quais um total de quatro pesquisas foram realizadas no Brasil. MPH methylphenidate, popularly known as Ritalin, was synthesized in 1954 in Switzerland and marke... more MPH methylphenidate, popularly known as Ritalin, was synthesized in 1954 in Switzerland and marketed in Brazil in 1998, belonging to the class of amphetamines. It acts in the CNS crossing the blood-brain barrier very easily. Used for cognitive improvement by college students. Its excessive consumption leads to dependence and possible side effects. The objective of this study was to analyze 91 university students who answered questionnaires on the theme. The collected data analyzed the incidence of Ritalin use among health academics at the University of Gurupi-UNIRG. After conducting the surveys, it was intended to understand the real reason that leads the student to the indiscriminate use of the drug and its possible consequences, to subsequently conduct guidance regarding the use without a prescription for academic purposes.

This study aimed to survey the use of medicinal plants by residents of the municipality of Aliança the Tocantins. In 2011, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 70 informants in the urban environment, Aliança of Tocantins. Most claimed to have acquired knowledge about medicinal plants with parents and grandparents, 60% and 25.7%, respectively. 62.9% of the interviewees obtained the plants in their backyard and 30% in the backyard of neighbors or relatives. The families with the highest number of species were Lamiaceae with 4 species (40%), Asteraceae and Malvaceae with 2 species each (20%). There were 82 therapeutic properties about the species mentioned, with a higher number of citations for "other indications&...

The main fetal comorbidities are macrosomia, growth disorder, and congenital and maternal anomalies in gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, vascular injury, and post-gestational diabetes. This study addressed the possible treatments with medicinal plants in gestational diabetes. Medicinal plants that have the diabetic purpose were researched, however, many pregnant women use and do not know the effects that can happen for the fetus and also for itself, the plants used for this work is not satisfactory for pregnant women with diabetes, but for non-diabetics, some are beneficial for treating this pathology.
