Objetivos: identificar os conceitos e pressupostos existenciais presentes no contexto da doença renal crônica à luz da teoria humanística de enfermagem. Método: estudo qualitativo, do tipo Teoria Fundamentada em Dados. O campo do estudo foi o Serviço de Nefrologia de um hospital universitário no sul do Brasil. A amostra foi de 7 enfermeiros, 3 técnicos de enfermagem e 10 pacientes em Terapia Renal Substitutiva. Os dados foram coletados entre janeiro de 2020 e janeiro de 2021, por meio de entrevista semiestruturada, realizada de forma virtual por meio do aplicativo Zoom. A análise de dados foi embasada na filosofia existencialista e na grande teoria de enfermagem, a Teoria Humanística de Enfermagem. The increase in gender-based violence in light of the COVID-19 pandemic is a public health problem that needs to be addressed. Our study aimed to describe the satisfaction with a training program in gender violence victim’s attention through simulated nursing video consultations, analyze the beliefs on gender violence in Mexican undergraduate nursing students, and understand the skills that need to be improved. A descriptive cross-sectional study using a mixed-method was carried out with 27 students using a validated satisfaction questionnaire (quantitative data) and conducting scripted interviews (qualitative data) analyzed through the interpretive paradigm. All nursing students expressed a high overall satisfaction with simulated nursing video consultations and positive perceptions about this training program. OBJECTIVE To reflect on nursing from an existentialist perspective, in which "being-with" has been shown to be the best type of care in a world with Covid-19. METHOD Reflective theoretical study on nursing in the context of a pandemic using an existentialist philosophical theoretical framework. RESULTS Nursing is now perceived by society as a profession whose practices are beyond the clinical conditions that affect individuals who live with this pandemic, as taking care of others is not only performing technical actions, but means, fundamentally, taking sensitive ones, like "being-with" in a present and authentic way. FINAL CONSIDERATIONS The pandemic has caused changes in the way human beings relate to the world, leading to reflections on values due to the restrictions imposed by it. Objectives: to determine how the immigration phenomenon influences the response to informal care in the domestic level through the caregiver activity, and to analyze the cultural dialogue established in the residential area of Murcia (Spain).Method: This is an ethnographic study, conducted in 26 informal immigrant caregivers. As data collection instruments, semi-structured interviews and participant observation were employed. MAXQDA-2 assisted content analysis was also applied.Results: the immigrant caregiver is the main consumer of traditional medicines, extending these health practices to her home group. A cultural dialogue is established on informal care, characterized by interculturalism and mutual adaptation.Conclusions: cultural hybridization was identified for informal caregivers, immigrants and cultural integration: new health care practices and cultural behaviors in informal systems. Objetivo: Este estudio pretende desvelar la evidencia cualitativa del paciente con enfermedad renal crónica a través de la percepción del equipo de enfermería nefrológica bajo una mirada existencialista. Material y Método: Se trata de un estudio cualitativo, exploratorio-descriptivo, con análisis basado en la teoría humanista de Paterson y Zderard y de la filosofía existencialista. Los trabajos de campo se hicieron en el servicio de nefrología en el sur de Brasil y un centro de hemodiálisis en Lorca en España. La muestra fue 12 profesionales del equipo enfermería. El estudio de los datos se realizó mediante análisis de contenido, con la identificación de categorías centrales. Resultados/Discusión: se identificaron tres categorías centrales: ser paciente; aceptar la enfermedad y establecer vínculos.
