There was a significant genotypic difference with respect to morphological, physiological, phenological characters, and yield and yield components. Seed yield was positively correlated with plant height, primary and secondary branches, total dry matter (TDM) and number of pods per plant but negatively correlated with days to flowering, days to maturity and protein content. Four mutants/lines viz., CPC-814, CPC-830, CPM-825 (gr) and CPM-834 showed early maturity, higher number of pods and seed yield per plant than all the studied entries, which might be selected for further trials. The highest seed yield (6.93 g plant -1 ) was recorded in CPC- 830. The line CPC-814 produced the highest number of filled pods per plant and the mutant CPM-834 took the shortest day...

Here, we aim at characterizing the thermodynamic stability of DEN envelope protein domain III (ED3) during its evolution, and we report a structural analysis of DEN4wt ED3 combined with a systematic mutational analysis of residues 310 and 387. Molecular modeling based on our DEN3 and DEN4 ED3 structures indicated that the side-chains of residues 310/387, which are Val(310)/Ile(387) and Met(310)/Leu(387) in DEN3wt and DEN4wt, respectively, could be structurally compensated, and that a "size switch type repacking" might have occurred at these sites during the evolution of DEN into its four serotypes. This was experimentally confirmed by a 10°C and 5°C decrease in the thermal stability of, respectively, DEN3 ED3 variants with Met(310)/Ile(387) and Val(310)/Leu(387), whereas the variant with Met(310)/Leu(387), which contains a double mutation, had the same stability as the wild type DEN3. Namely, the Met310Val mutation should have preceded the Leu387Ile mutation in order to maintain the tight internal packing of ED3 and thus its thermodynamic stability. This view was confirmed by a phylogenetic reconstruction indicating that a common DEN ancestor would have Met(310)/Leu(387), and the intermediate node protein, Val(310)/Leu(387), which then mutated to the Val(310)/Ile(387) pair found in the present DEN3. The hypothesis was further confirmed by the observation that all of the present DEN viruses exhibit only stabilizing amino acid pairs at the 310/387 sites.

Therefore one of the key factors for the success of ultra-deep submicron technologies will be the capability of integrating different resources like processor core, memory, an FPGA, a custom hardware block or any other semiconductor intellectual property (SIP) block into a single piece

CNNE combines ensemble architecture design with cooperative training for individual neural networks (NNs) in ensembles. Unlike most previous studies on training ensembles, CNNE puts emphasis on both accuracy and diversity among individual NNs in an ensemble. In order to maintain accuracy among individual NNs, the

In this paper, we designed an admission controller (AC) along with the necessary algorithms to allow an enterprise network (EN) to satisfy both of these goals. We consider the selection of both a server from several alternatives, and the selection of a delivery route, plus the reservation of resources both in the selected server and on the delivery route to achieve the two goals of guaranteed absolute QoS and revenue optimization. We simulated the AC; simulation results are provided together with explanations.
