This model is intended to be based on the behavioural control, subjective norms, and the recognition of the benefits and risks of e procurement adoption. The developed model, “E-Procurement Adoption Model” (E-PAM), combined and
extended two existing models previously used for information technology adoption. Central to the design of the E-PAM is the principle that a realistic model should consider all relevant psychological, social, cultural, demography, and religious factors. The mediating components “mediators” that determine the
final model are thus determined by the specific aforementioned factors about of on to the development of an e-procurement approach in the context of the Rules of Islamic Sharia. Therefore, in the design of the research model, factors including perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, organisational facilitators, organisational leadership, critical success factors, challenges, barriers, and benefits were taken into
account. These factors in turn gave rise to the two mediating components of ‘Attitude’ and ‘Rules of Islamic Sharia’.

A pilot test was carried out in Dublin City University involving 42 undergraduate students. Various questionnaires have been used to collect students’ data, including demographics, use of Internet access technologies and frequency of watching movies. Based on this data, students were divided into subgroups considering their age, gender, bad vision (i.e., wearing glasses) and frequency of watching movies. Results show that there is a knowledge gain improvement after using multimedia adaptation for all the subgroups.

One of the reasons is the perception that such subjects are boring and various approaches have been proposed to solve this issue. The European Horizon 2020 NEWTON Project is tackling this problem by creating a pan-European learning management platform, NEWTELP, and developing multiple TEL application employing various technologies and approaches such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Virtual Labs, fabrication labs, gamification, multimedia, mulsemedia, game-based learning, problem-based learning and self-directed learning. Educational pilots focused on STEM topics have been carried out as part of NEWTON project assessing various aspects, such as knowledge gain, affective state and usability. Extensive feedback and observational analysis was performed in order to investigate the benefits of NEWTON TEL approaches to both teachers and learners. This paper presents the importance of teachers and discusses their role in TEL lessons and teacher feedback following NEWTON project pilots.

Countries cannot be strong and dependent, unless their economic, social and political relations are very good. Trade process have played an active role not only in the movement of money and goods, but also in the convergence civilizations, cultures, religions among peoples and nations, where the primary role has centred on the flow of goods, capital, human resources and services. This paper tends to focus on comparison of trade under Arabic legislation and to compare it to that of western based economies. A large number of companies make use of the concept of for commercial purposes. The Islamic religion defines Sharia law that governs the financial transactions .The law prohibits the acceptance of specific interest and fees on money lending and the application or Riba denotes that any excess monetary consideration should be done with due consideration. The study here thus tries to correlate different factors affecting the adoption of e-procurement by businesses that follow these Islamic laws of banking and trade.
This paper hopes to begin the debate that there are differences in trade, and as such differences in procurement and thus differences in e-procurement when a seen through alternative lens. The paper aims to illustrate the characteristics of e-commerce from an Islamic economic perspective. The current study also explains the meaning of regular and electronic commerce in the Islamic world view by comparing this with the western culture and its modern perspectives.
Knowledge has shown over a period of one thousand years that the Islamic religion provides us a whole range of systems for social life that differs to current western democracies. There are systems for transactions, family, economy and other life issues even including war system.
This paper will discuss background to trade procurement and e-procurement from an Islamic point of view. This paper will begin a discussion of how to define procurement from a cultural viewpoint in the same way that it has been defined from an economic point of view

This process allows both sides to establish a base of qualified and registered users, which is useful when searching for buyers or sellers. It also allows them to select the bidding price or new greeting. This paper reviews the general view of e-procurement and presents some of the initial findings of research within the petroleum sector in Libya. The quantitative methodology chosen for the research is online survey. The resultant data presented here is based on both firstly the organisational documents and published documents and secondary from data the current data being collected. The petroleum market is becoming increasingly competitive, fast-paced, and global. Libya is considered as the twelfth largest exporter of petroleum in the world. Several multinational petroleum companies have petroleum producing facilities in Libya. The competitiveness of the global market has pressurised most of these companies to adopt advanced technologies to maximise profit and minimise waste.
In the absence of clear procurement strategy and policy, many multinational petroleum companies might not necessarily be able to assess the economic risks involved in any tendering, procurement or contracts process, no matter how low the technical risks case. The research therefore seeks to present the current status of procurement management in the Libyan petroleum production area and also aim at providing understanding of the Barriers and success factors that affects e-procurement in petroleum sector in Libya.

Acquiring these tasks by engineering students represents a major advancement in preparation for real life as future engineers. All of these tasks are hardly taught jointly through traditional learning methods, so engineering students poorly assimilate them. New learning techniques such as project-based learning, facilitates the assimilation of all these tasks giving students a much more comprehensive and realistic set of competences for their future professional life. In this paper, we present a case study of project-based learning, involving the Design, Development and the role of the Marketing and Supply Chain Management of a new product within a classroom environment. The project set for the students relates to the manufacturing of a new motorcycle. It was carried out by students of engineering schools in Spain as part of a National Competition. Engineering schools are involved in the project competition in a real race held on a professional circuit.

Engineer - Procure – Construct (EPC) projects are the main overall oil and gas contracts from the tender to the turnkey phase. In these projects types, contractors are usually responsible for designing installations, procureing and supplying of the whole materials and equipment. They also construct the place of project.
Recently more attention has been given to transportation issues in the oil and gas industry with economic, environmental and safety problems causing a significant impact in the prize and intermittent demand variability of these products.
Furthermore, the Finite Element Method (FEM) is used to obtain the best parameters in the welding process of the joints in order to reduce the overall cost and time. This design tool is used currently in the process of manufacturing the pipelines by the Engineer - Procure – Construct (EPC) projects in the oil and gas industry.
This paper places emphasis on the importance of procurement pipelines in the fields of oil and gas production, and investigates the effect and cost of manufacturing of oil and gas products pipelines applying FEM in the design and optimisation of welded joints. The paper also proposes to show how the new tools and strategy of e-procurement is one of the most supported of this complex process.

In this field of research Increasing transparency and better economic outcomes, including lower contract prices and administrative and logistical costs of supply is essential. Part of early electronic access frameworks is being developed, and new frameworks are being developed in many countries for this policy.

The purpose of the study is to know how multimedia adaptation influences participants' knowledge gain and learning satisfaction. Multimedia adaptation refers to altering some parameters of a media component such as resolution or bitrate in case of video during the streaming process. Diverse data was gathered by questionnaires, including participant demographics, learning results and information about learning experience. Students' data was analysed by considering diverse student subgroups based on their details such as age, gender, network used and frequency of watching movies. A quantitative analysis was employed to examine the results of the study. The results show that apart from a learning satisfaction increase there is also a knowledge gain improvement after using multimedia adaptation.
