GPS is one of the technologies that are used in a huge number of applications today. One of the applications is tracking your vehicle and keeps regular monitoring on them. This tracking system can inform you the location and route travelled by vehicle, and that information can be observed from any other remote location. It also includes the web application that provides you exact location of target. This system enables us to track target in any weather conditions. This system uses GPS and GSM technologies. The paper includes the hardware part which comprises of GPS, GSM,Atmega microcontroller MAX 232, LCD and software part is used for interfacing all the required modules and a web application is also developed at the client side.

This paper presents the improvement and execution of a worldwide scheme for Mobile Communication (GSM) base control system for electrical appliances that enables the whole manage of the boundary lying on which it is based. GSM constituent was used for receiving short message service (SMS) from operator's mobile phone that robotically enable the controller to take further action like substituting ON and OFF electrical appliances such as fan, air-conditioner, bright etc. The scheme was joined with microcontroller and GSM system border using C language. The scheme is triggered when user sends the SMS to the controller at household (regarded as Smart Home). Upon getting the SMS command, the microcontroller unit then automatically controls the electrical applications by switching ON or OFF the device according to the operator's order. In other word, it reads communication from the mobile phone and retort to switch the plans according to the received message.

In this approach a secure semi fragile watermarking technique based on Wavelet Packet Decomposition and Singular Value Decomposition is proposed. We are using Haar DWT as mother wavelet. In this approach we first perform Haar DWT on the cover image to obtain LL, LH, HL and HH frequency subbands then we select LH and HL frequency subbands to obtain detail and approximation coefficient of cover image and watermark image. The watermark image is embedded into the original image using LH and HL frequency sub-bands. Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) is used to modify the singular values of the coefficient of cover image and watermark image. PNSR and similarity index are chosen to measure quality of this approach. Experiments are carried out with 512*512 and 256*256 image sizes. Experimental result shows that the proposed scheme is robust and secure. Moreover there is no visible difference between watermark image and extracted watermark.
