The wall of the wedge is embedded in a uniform Darcian porous medium to allow for injection or suction. The governing equations are written into a dimensionless form by a similarity transformation. The transformed ordinary differential equation is solved analytically and the effect of parameters on it is shown graphically. Keywords: Flow, wedge, viscosity Journal of the Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics , Volume 19 (November, 2011), pp 255 – 258

While certain types of hyperthermia treatments rely on thermal radiations from single-sourced electro-radiation measures, conjugating dual radiation field sources is being discussed in an effort to enhance the delivery of therapy. The thermal efficiency of a combined infrared hyperemia with nanoparticle recirculation near an applied magnetic field on subcutaneous strata of a model lesion as an ablation technique is investigated computationally in this research. To tackle the equation of linked momentum and thermal equilibrium in the blood-perfused tissue domain of a spongy fibrous tissue, an intricate Spectral relaxation method (SRM) was developed. The well-known Roseland diffusion approximation was used to define thermal diffusion regimes in the presence of external magnetic field imposition and ...

A review of related literature shows that several phenomena had been developed to prevent malicious applications from stealing personal sensitive information from smart phones but there is still the need for efficient solutions. This study presents a literature review of works on content Analyzers for information leakage detection and prevention on android-based devices. The review will help to combine different concept to minimize false positives that will in turn lead to increase in code coverage towards detecting the maximum number of data leaks.

It causes respiratory symptoms, limitation of activity and flare-ups attacks that sometimes require urgent health care and may be fatal. This ailment has been identified as a threat to human existence, killing millions of people annually. Shortages of medical experts, hospitals and necessary equipment have been adjudged some of the prominent factors for the very high number of deaths associated with this ailment annually. This paper proposed a prototype monitoring system for managing asthma in Nigeria with a view to reduce poor communication gap between health-care providers and patients. The simulation describes hardware device which will be developed in a way to accept vital signs and symptoms. Once these signs are collated, they will be sent to the hospital centralized server and eventually to health-care givers for necessary attention. A set of ...

It is also an avenue for students in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to take learning out of the classroom to a more practical environment. However, the conduct of the programme needs thorough supervision in order to ascertain that the aims and objectives of SIWES are met. It was discovered that the existing system of management of students during the SIWES period is far from being effective as it often involves physical visitation of the students by supervisors whilst incurring some operating costs. Besides monitoring, mentoring is another vital role of the supervisor. Furthermore, mentoring has not been feasible due to the effect of varying locations of the duty posts of students. Hence, in order to solve these problems, a webbased solution is proposed in thi...

Binomial model can be used to accurately price American style options than the Black-Scholes model as it takes into consideration the possibilities of early exercise and other factors like dividends. The strength and weakness of this model were considered. This model is both computationally efficient and accurate but not adequate to deal with path dependent options.

The purpose of this work was to examine the learning tools employed in the modern teaching and learning as practiced in Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), the problems and the challenges in the application and make recommendations to improve the effective application. The authors, who are teachers in various departments of the university and used the facilities to teach, collected data through personal observations, responses to structured questionnaires and personal interviews. ABUAD had a variety of ICT facilities which had improved teaching and learning in ABUAD. In spite of these facilities, the training programme, the technical support provided and the positive effect on teaching and learning, not all the lecturers have put them to effective usage for varied reasons. These were reviewed and recommendati...
